“I always come here for my Chinese food needs. China Garden is fast paced over the phone to ensure the fokd is made and ready for pickup promptly (also in a very busy area). I’ll miss this place when I move, but I know exactly where to go if I just need that take out. House fried rice + sesame chicken (maybe some crab Rangoon) and it’s a good time with good food. 5/5“

“This is an excellent little place. I normally get my food to go because we live near by. The food is always fresh and very authentic. The prices are better than most places you go nowadays. We get an over abundance with the amount of food we receive in the portions. Depending on what you get it can be $10-15 per person. This is our quick go to, and you can actually see the people making the food which is reassuring.“

“Excellent hotpot place in town! It includes many delicious hot appetizers. The food items are fresh. Very friendly staff and quick service. Clean and inviting atmosphere. They give you metal spoons instead of plastic ones. My husband and I highly recommend this place. If you don't want to do hot pot, you can order a la carte.“

“Best authentic Chinese food in the Buford area! Nothing else even comes close. We like the variety of authentic dishes they have here especially the dry style mala. Their American Chinese dishes are pretty good too (General Tso's, etc.).“

“We just moved into the area. Stumbled across this restaurant and ordered takeout. We were waiting in our car and the gentleman at the front who took our order surprised us by bringing it out to our car. That little gesture was very much appreciated especially since we're so tired from moving in.“

“Hidden Gem! I absolutely love the food here! Always super fresh and the owners are such nice ppl. She remembers my husband and I favorites there and always chats with us when we dine in. She even met my kids! The environment is old and can use a renovation but her service and interpersonal skills make you look over that. Definitely stop in for fresh Chinese food and great service. Also prices are GREAT and portions match.“

“A family favorite! The food here never disappoints. Our favorite dishes were the general tao chicken and the garlic chicken eggplant dish. Our server was very attentive. As someone who grew up with Chinese food, I can say the food we ordered was authentic (perhaps that’s because we know what to order besides chinese take-out type of food). Definitely give this place a try!“

“Had to take my wife to the doctors in Oakwood. Stopped here for a quick lunch. The shrimp fried rice was the best I ever had. Wife had pork fried rice and said it was very good. Washed it down with a Thai iced tea. Excellent! Got to go back to doctors in three weeks, I know where I'll be eating lunch.“

“I’ve been a regular here for over a year now, and as someone from Detroit who knows good Chinese food, I can confidently say this place delivers every time. The consistency is unmatched, and it takes me back to my childhood in Detroit. Their hibachi and egg foo young are hands down the best—absolutely mouthwatering. While the staff can occasionally seem a bit curt, that’s often a sign that the food is incredible. This spot is a solid 10/10, highly recommend!“

“Love this spot! I come here every once in a while this time I ordered Lunch portion of Thai spicy chicken and my husband had Mongolian beef both dishes were very tasty. The spicy Thai chicken can be ordered with shrimp. And they also have Mongolian chicken. I've been coming here for years and I have yet to have a bad experience even with takeout my food has been hot, fresh, and delicious ? I hope that never changes ?“

“The Happy China restaurant was a nice experience. The food was quite delicious. I had General Tso's and fried rice with an eggroll on the side. The chicken was very good. As was the fried rice. The eggroll was not bad but I have had better. Overall, not bad at all.“

“I used to get.the Thai spicy fried rice here once or twice a week but can't afford it but maybe once every couple months or so. I did have this rated 5 stars but this time around I ordered the Thai spicy fried rice with extra spice and when I got home I opened it and found that it's regular chicken fried rice. I'm extremely disappointed. I will be sure to check before i leave if I decide to get food from this place again.“

“"It's like a consensual sexual assault on the senses." "I feel like I got hit with tear gas. Flavorful, delicious, spicy tear gas." I was first introduced to pho when I was 22 and working at a Korean law firm. For the past 11 years, pho has been my go-to meal for everything: hangover, common cold, emotional comfort. I'd not be exaggerating to estimate I've been going to different pho restaurants at least once a week for 11 years. This is the very first one where a waiter or staff member has suggested something and said "that's the way we eat it in Vietnam." Our waiter suggested a sauce mixture (the base of which is his homemade recipe) that had my husband saying the two quotes at the beginning of this review. And he added "it's like a Vietnamese holy water, purging the demons from my sinuses" before we left. I'd highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back - hopefully we'll get more "back in Vietnam" recommendations too! It adds so much to the experience when someone shares their passion and homeland experiences with you - it is obvious food here is cooked with love. I took the picture when we were almost done because it was so delicious, I forgot to take a picture at the beginning.“
