“25 minutes and then you're in chicken heaven!! I could probably eat this every day if I had things my way. Every single things that I've tasted there has been a 10!! Yes, even the the hotdogs!! #ChefsKiss! You know the food is good when the restaurant is only open four days a week!! They just get it. I promise, you can't go wrong eating here and the service is phenomenal!! Thank you!“
“It's a very unassuming building, but their fried chicken is fantastic. Whenever I've got a real estate client in the Folkston area, my wife and I always make a point to hit the drive through and get enough chicken for a few meals. Their staff has always been very friendly.“
“Nice little local diner type place. Servers are all pleasant. Food is good 90% of the time, so no complaints. Every once in a while something is "off". But we keep going back... prices are good. The menu has variety. The wait, if ever, is usually brief.“
“If you find yourself in Folkston to watch trains, go swamping, or just passing through, stop here if you want hospitality (in all capital letters). We were one of those tourist couples that saw the great reviews and needed a bite to eat but failed to see on the door that Dixie was serving 3 days a week. Well that didn’t stop us illiterate Northerners and in we walked that Saturday afternoon when she wasn't serving. Dixie was incredibly gracious and after chatting us up she prepared an impressive and delicious set of chicken salad sandwiches and pimento cheese apps on the side. Triple filled my sweet tea. Holy cow. We didn’t feel so bad when another equally illiterate couple came in behind us and got the similar treatment. Check the place out, ideally when the sign says they’re serving food. They are the nicest. (Next time I come back I’m bringing checked luggage so I can stock up on the tasty-looking spreads and honeys but there’s a ton of other stuff in that delightfully eclectic store.)“
