“Amazing dinner. My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed our evening very much. We got the Wednesday Date Night feature. 1 appetizer, 2 entrées, and 1 bottle of house wine for $60.We also added an order of the Fried Brussels, which was incredibly delicious. My husband got the Ribeye which he devoured, and I got the Curried Chickpeas with grilled chicken which was absolutely delicious. Overall, everything was great. I would definitely recommend Reid's Apothecary.“
“We love visiting mom and pop restaurants, especially when we travel. There weren't many to choose from that sold breakfast all day, we got there around noon for breakfast. Maggie Mae's certainly has the feel of a small town diner with the friendly service and a lot of locals eating there (police, firemen, city hall workers and citizens). Maggie herself was working and stopped by to make sure our food met our expectations and we had all we need. The service was great and each server made us feel like we belonged there. The food was great and all we expected. We got it fairly quick considering how busy it got and only 2 cooks. It was hot and tasty. I really liked my loaded home fries. Not necessarily a bad thing but everything was served in/on disposable plates/cups, except for the coffee cup. The city water tastes somewhat like ocean water but it was tolerable if you're thirsty. My only suggestion would be (certainly wouldn't prevent me from visiting again if I come through town again) to hang some pics/decor on the walls, they were all plain white. I would also get some cozier feeling seating (tables & chairs). The place lacked character bc of its simplicity. Most tables were 6 tops so some folks shared tables with other small parties, which was cool.“
“Sonny's is my favorite BBQ restaurant. The brisket is absolutely outstanding, and the Sonny's BBQ sauce is second to none. The service at this location is the friendliest in town, which is stellar considering that the locals everywhere have been extremely friendly to me as a visitor. Great job, Sonny's and the Brunswick, GA community!!“
“Such a treat to live so close to A Moveable Feast. It’s our favorite place in town! The salads are both crisp and juicy, the sandwiches melt before your eyes and the desserts simply dangerously delicious! I love the way Tanya was so thoughtful in choosing the name for her restaurant. I have no doubt Hemingway would have fallen for the many feasts available on the daily menu just as I did. The soup of the day is always a healthy surprise to look forward to; the prices are reasonable and the montly art exibit is another thoughtful touch. Don’t miss this place if you long for homemade delights!“
“Got a takeout pork sandwich and onion rings. The pork sandwich was packed with meat and flavor; the onion rings really good. My server was working in the rain. This is apparently one of the oldest restaurants in Brunswick. I'd eat there again!“
“Fresh tasty breakfast! The biscuits are amazing! One suggestion-For a small business any business is $$. Leave your breakfast menu until at least noon. Arrived at 11 and breakfast wasn't being served. We left along with two other customers.“
“Some of the best, wings I've had in a long time. And almost the best philly I've ever had. The staff is always great, and cleanliness is top notch. It's a bit of a walk, being it's inside the mall. It's well worth it thou.“
“Really cute little local bar. On the small side by nicely kept. We had ice cold draft beers and they have a great selection to please everybody. We have their pretzels as a snack. The bartender was very attentive and nice. This is a section of town that they're revitalizing and doing really well with local businesses. Nice place to walk around on a beautiful day and spend some time stopping for a cold one and enjoy the day.“
“My husband and I eat here all the time, in fact we drive over from Saint Simons several times a week to eat at this location. Heather, Leann, Kayla and crew are always kind, offer great service and create a warm and fun atmosphere. I grew up in a breakfast restaurant and own one myself, and you just can’t hand pick a better crew to serve customers. Good people, good food and always a good experience.“
“I’d like to give a special and well deserved review to Sam,Todd, and Christina for not only excellent food but excellent hospitality. I’ve never been to a waffle house, for a first time this was undoubtedly one of the best experiences I’ve had my entire time out here. Im looking forward to having it again in the morning. And if you’re hungry then you should too.“
“The jumbo shrimp was perfect and almost too much with the two sides. I loved the baby cakes (hash rounds), the slaw, and the hush puppies. I can't wait to try other stuff on their menu. The two of us (both ordered the same thing) are here for just under $25, with drinks included. Our new favorite place in Brunswick.“
“I ordered the half Tavern sandwich and half Cobb salad. Delicious!!! I also bought two Ham bones. I probably shouldn't let this secret out. But the small one was $10. It has a quarter of meat left on it and OH, what I can make with that bone!!!“
“The food and beverages here are quite good, but the service is even better. Pam herself basically introduced me to every person at the bar and they were all just as nice as her. I highly recommend giving this place a shot if you find yourself nearby. Even if you aren't make the trip anyway, I will certainly be back soon.“
“This is my dh's fav place to eat and I can taste why! Such great, made-from-scratch food! It's worth the wait on a lunch hour.College kids or anyone looking for a very part time job, reach out to them, they need a lunch rush person so that the chef can focus on his awesome cooking!“
“Slaw dog top tier! ?? It was so good we went back again and decided to try the pork chop sandwich. All I can say is, you better get you one!!! I recognized the owner as he was cleaning the outdoor dining area. He's such a friendly, humble guy. Also, do yourself a favor and check out his other restaurant, Mr. Shucks. ? 5⭐️“
“Have not been there but once since they moved and done away with the buffet but today reminded me why I have not been back. Unorganized pick up at 11 stood in line 30 min. When speek up get the lip service. Yes will not be back. They cannot get it together. Order was late and tell girl up front do not apologize for me and don't tell me to be patient when I stood there 30 min“
“My first visit but hopefully not my last. My new friend Bubba told me such great things about this place; it was a must try!Had the Golden Dragon and it was phenomenal!Clean atmosphere and helpful teamwork from staff.Love the freshness of this tasty sushi.Great work guys!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“We waited for a table when we arrived around 1:30 pm on a Saturday as it was too cold to sit outside on the patio. Once seated, service is fast! Our drinks came out quickly as did soup and salad that was included. My husband was not a fan of the salad. We both ate the complimentary appetizer which I liked. We ordered a miso soup which was unlike miso soup that I normally get-it had a lot of seaweed and the miso was a little diluted. I had tofu hibachi which was not on the menu, but which they prepared for me. It was a huge portion size and came with a large bowl of fried rice. My husband got the steak and shrimp hibachi with white rice. My son got two sushi rolls, shrimp tempura and crazy roll. My son was not a fan of the salmon that came on top of the crazy roll. Overall, the ambience and food were good, and the food was plentiful, but not quite the same caliber from home in Atlanta.“
“Ordered three ribeyes they were all cooked perfectly just how we wanted them and they were so full of flavor. And very delicious they had asparagus for vegetable of the day and it was amazing. That was my first time going there. And definitely would go again if you haven’t been over recommend this place for “
“Waffle House Day Shift on Venture Dr was absolutely a delightful experience. We have lived in the area over a year, and this was our first visit, and I can guarantee you that it won't be our last!! Great service, great food, and reasonably priced. Cyndi was our server, and she was right on with suggestions on the menu when I couldn't make up my mind. I had a combination of everything for breakfast. Good thing my husband was there to help me finish such a big tasty breakfast. Eggs , bacon, hashbrowns, toast, and a waffle topped off with fresh hot coffee. This establishment is clean and the staff is friendly don't pass this one up!!! My new go to for breakfast!!!! Never had a waffle, so light and tasty!!“
“The food is a 20 out of 10! This place is a vibe all on its own. April is down to earth, nice and attentive. The other team members were nice and attentive too. You can tell they work great together. The peach pound cake with vanilla ice cream is a must!!! We will be back before we leave town.“
