“Visited Willie Jewel’s off I-95 exit 38 with one mission, try my first bowl of Brunswick Stew. I wasn’t disappointed, the stew was thick and very tasty (it had brisket and pork sausage). We finished with a really good portion of warmed banana bread.“

“Hands down best bbq in Glynn county. Thoughtful and creative dishes with solid core meats which is the whole point! For once I even complimented the Brunswick stew which is extremely hard for me as i make a phenomenal one. Staff/atmosphere are also perfect as well. Can't wait to go back.“
“Got a takeout pork sandwich and onion rings. The pork sandwich was packed with meat and flavor; the onion rings really good. My server was working in the rain. This is apparently one of the oldest restaurants in Brunswick. I'd eat there again!“
“If you are a fan of BBQ, then you have to make a pilgrimage to Gary Lee. This is the real deal. This is authentic BBQ and it doesn't get much better than this. We have been stopping here for years during our trips to Florida and back. They are less than 5 minutes off of Interstate 95 in Brunswick, Georgia. They are only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It's a take out place, but they have tables inside to sit and eat at.“
