Their specials are always fantastic. Tri tip is always good as is their chimichurri(yes they have tacos, their own pickled veg and today had mexican short rib lasagna), Brisket nice and salty ribs are great too.
We went in for a tasting for our rehearsal dinner, and they were beyond amazing!! They treated us like part of the family and it felt like eating in your grandmas house on thanksgiving. Their smoked Brisket and Turkey are the most delicious I’ve ever had. Their staff is also very friendly. Be sure to check out their back yard when live music is scheduled

Based on the reviews, Hootenanny’s at the Yard—Craft Barbecue Restaurant in Downtown Brunswick, Georgia, offers incredible food and outstanding service. The brisket cheesesteak is amazing, with perfectly cooked and seasoned meat and a provolone cheese sauce that is a perfect compliment. The cornbread pudding is decadent, and the banana puddings are so good they did not even make it to the car. The Texas Twinkie is awesome, and the ribs might be the best anywhere. The tri tip tacos are great, and the deserts are great as well. The red BBQ sauce is unique and very tasty, with a little heat, a little sweet, and vinegar tang. The food and service are amazing, with a woman working the counter who is a true gem, so gracious, helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere is adorable and the vibe is perfect and cool. This is the best BBQ in Glynn Co and some of the best barbecue ever had. It is worth visiting for anyone in Brunswick or St. Simon’s.
