“This place is a true gem especially if you like wings. When I went out didn't take me long at all to get my food. The wings were so crunchy and delicious, couldn't get enough of it. Mac and cheese was delicious as well.... Wish the Mac and cheese portion was a little bigger that's my only tiny complaint also wish it was open more often. Other than that I'd spend a good deal of my little money here.“

“The experience was more than I expected. My daughter whose in the Navy and stationed oversees came to visit but was leaving on Saturday so I wanted to spend a Friday night with her before she left. Well I was very pleased with the food and the atmosphere. Initially when we arrived I was ready to go to another spot due to it was dead but little did I know we were early. Our waitress I can’t remember her name was the bomb, I give this spot an 11 out of 10.“

“Dissapointed in Big Kahuna dog. No creole mustard, no pickled onions, the "housemade slaw" was shredded cabbage, the cherry pepper relish was pickle relish out of a jar. When I mentioned it to the girl at the counter after I received it , she said we are out of most of the ingredients on the menu and they stopped putting creole mustard on it because people said it was too spicy. Lol. Total lack of communication between the kitchen and the counter staff. We all have to 86/sub items, But you should tell the customer what he's getting so his expectations are not dashed. I know it's just a hot dog and I ate it because I was hungry and the actual hot dog was good, but they didn't get anything close to what it should have been.“

“Always a pleasure coming to Boxcar between the food, atmosphere, and staff it makes for a pleasant experience.

I had the braised beef short ribs that came with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The meat was super fork pull apart tender, mashed potatoes well seasoned, and collard greens like somebody’s Grandma was making them in the kitchen.

My wife and I also had the collard greens cheese dip and the Kung Pao Brussel sprout for an appetizer. Both appetizers were delicious and more than enough for 2-3 people.

We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) Tarvis, thank you for making two weary travelers leave your restaurant with pep in their step Keep on shining your light. And to any traveler who is leery of a place that serves a hamburger and a sushi roll… Fear not. This place is great.“

“My husband and I was looking for some place new to go for dinner and i found this place on the internet. We had never heard of it and it was close to our home so we decided to check it out. The set up is nice. I believe there are 3 or 4 dinning rooms. The staff was really nice and very attentive. We didnt make any reservations which they do prefer but they sat us still without a wait. The drinks were really good and they did not hold out on the amount of alcohol. Now the dinner. OMG Dinner was off the chain. I tip my hat off to the chef. I had the Honey Glaze Salmon and my husband is vegan so he had The Smoked spinach Asparagus Mashed potatoes and Brocolini. When I tell you this had to be the best food with so much flavor. We were more then pleased. The only complaint we have is the music got really loud. If couldnt hear each other even if you are sitting right next o each other. But other then that I will definitely return and I must say I am adding this to my list of best restaurants in Atlanta.“

“I realized my passport expired 48 hours before an international flight. I was able to book an appointment in the Atlanta Passport Agency for the next day in the morning at 9:30am. By 11am, I had my passport in hand. The people were all extremely friendly, EVERYONE, from the security to the tellers. This made an extremely stressful experience much better. “Arrival: Woke up craving beignets & mimosas on 3/12/23 so a quick google search & I stopped here for brunch on my way out of Atlanta. Dead end drinks on a dead end street ? Lol love it. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. I sat at the bar first but then decided that I wanted to write so I asked to move to somewhere with a bit more space and they were happy to accommodate me. I sat upstairs and the view was just what I needed. (Very comfortable chairs as well!) The Food: Mimosa .. 10/10 Side hash with peppers & onions .. 10/10 Seasoned well and the veggies taste fresh and were cooked perfectly. I will get extra onions & peppers next time though. Side of Turkey bacon .. 10/10 Beignets .. 8/10 Though I wasn’t expecting an authentic taste, it did have more of a donut flavor. Wasn’t bad though! Overall experience: Wonderful! Affordable menu. Nice staff. Cool atmosphere. Can’t wait to return when I visit the city again. I’ll definitely be stopping back by to sit upstairs in my now favorite writing spot & for a cocktail or two. Perfect way of ending my trip ✨“

“Nice food selection for a bar. Fast service, even with just 3-4 people working they were handling the crowd well. 2 nice adequate restrooms. Drinks strong, didn’t like the heavy salt on the Paloma-should have ordered it without. Rum Punch and Espresso drink good.

-okra portion size is too small. Too much salt on them. Great fresh cook just give more and use less salt.

-Brussels are too oily and buttery-you can see the butter heavy. Good portion just too much butter.

-Brisket Taco-Great value and I loved the BBQ taste. General flour tortilla shell but at least it’s toasted. Would’ve liked the option of fresh corn shell but I understand this is a bar. Was about to order more food, but I already ate. Prices are good all around: pool tables, games, nice chill vibe with some outdoor rooftop seating. Entertainment on some nights. For the overall experience, it’s pretty close to a five star if not already five star to you. If someone gives it a four star, it is the kind of four star that with improvements could easily be a five star, and this could be quite the regular hangout spot for some. Adequate parking on the street and in the rear.“
