“Omgoodness this is a wonderful 100% vegan restaurant. The brunch Sunday was amazing. A friend suggested this to us and we're so glad she did. We had the 2 tofu scramble tacos with a side salad and a cup of fruit. We shared it cause we were going to a friend's house and just needed something to tide us over. I'm glad we shared it cause it would have filled me up. Can't wait to be back in Chattanooga again.“

“Mary’s plate lunches are the best! No cans in her kitchen. Homemade desserts are delicious. And the grill is manned by Christopher and they will melt in your mouth YUMBO! The staff is attentive to your needs and they love the customers. No wonder they have been and stayed in business since 1918. Family owned and now run by the 4th generation. I’ve even seen the 5th and 6th generation helping when they are “in the weeds”. You owe it to yourself to eat there.“

“Thank you Real Roots. This was really good. I got the Miso bowl and that was amazeballs. My little sister Ava got the Beet Salad and she ate it in 3 seconds because it was so yum. A wonderful addition to our experience was the availability of reverse osmosis filtered water, the most delicious and PFA free version of water in my opinion. Also we sat outside and it was so cute!! “We came in and there was a 40 minute wait, however the sweet girl offered us a spot at the bar and we took it because we needed coffee bad. 😃 We were served immediately and placed our order. The food was delicious but the people were amazing. Mattson and Emily took excellent care of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with them about things to do in the area. If you are offered a seat at the bar take it! 10/10 recommend! To the manager, I hope you know you have a great staff, which is rare these days. We had just left another restaurant (A.F.) because the guy behind the bar was so rude to us and our server. We walked out of there and into “Milk and Honey”. Thank you Mattson and Emily!“

“Ate here after a tour through Ruby falls.Was a nice day so we sat out on the patio to enjoy the view.The food was great. I had a grilled cheese and tomato soup that hit the spot with the little bit of cool breeze in the air.My kids ate everything on their plate which is saying something.Like others stated, not really a service place, order on kiosk and wait for your name to be called then you buss your tray after you are done. What else do you need.Price was a little much but its a tourist spot, its to be expected. At least the food was worth the price.“

“I came in August 8th in need of a pick me up, both mentally physically. I left sufficiently caffeinated and with a smile on my face. All thanks to the baristas; A young woman with a nose ring and the best laugh I've ever heard and a young man wi/h braids who can carry on a sensible conversation with anyone about nearly anything! The iced mocha latte takes an equal share in making my day!“

“I've been a regular here since I moved to Southside in 2018. I have to admit I was a bit sad they got rid of happy hour from 3-5pm during the week but I can see how the hours were slower then. Anyways, I wanted to give a huge shout out to ALL of the staff who always take care of me. But this past Sunday March 16th, Emma was the best ever and took my annoying order (I stock up on coffees for the week since I can't come before they close anymore LOL) shortly before closing time! I called to make sure she'd be okay with that and she was amazing! The rest of the staff is always so great and wonderful too. I love everyone who works there! It's great to see this business has grown with different locations (I've been to the Northshore location a few times) but Southside's location will always be my go to!!! Thank you for amazing coffee! I also LOVE the customer card where you get a free coffee after 10 coffee purchases, it's the best loyalty program!!!

Side note: I've gotten their Trap sandwich before and their chocolate chip cookies before.....and their giant cinnamon rolls featured on Cheap Eats all those years ago....all delicious!!!!“

“We had lunch yesterday at the Gunbarrel Panera Bread. We had an order for four and the salads we ordered were very fresh! The self serve coffee was great too! The tables and bathrooms were clean! If you experience a wait please be patient so many of our eating establishments are overwhelmed with guests and understaffed. They need our patience. If you need to wait and order here when you are not in a hurry definitely do that! Most places have order in the app options so even if you don't see a line they may be working hard to fill orders. We will definitely eat here again soon.“
