Not like it used to be. Order yourself, pick up food yourself, clean your table, and take trash. I don't mind any of that, but they want you to leave a tip. For who? I did it all but cook. I believe cooks get paid better than waitresses, and food costs enough already. Good food.Only 1 nice employee.
Bad reviews for this restaurant are just not true. This place is clean, food is great and was brought out very quickly. I'm not from this area and this is one of the best Steak and Shakes I've been to. Staff was very friendly. So ignore the other posts...

Usually a great place to grab a good burger but not so great today. I ordered single w cheese and bacon, no bacon and meat was not hot. I also ordered 2 cheese sauces and only got one. So I paid extra for bacon and cheese sauce I didn't get. If money wasn't so tight it would not be a big deal. But with today's prices u would think the business would encourage their employees to make sure we atleast get what we paid such a high price for.
