The Inked Pig offers excellent service and a great dining experience. The food is delicious, with standouts including the pork, cheesecake, banana pudding, ribs, and chicken. The pulled pork, fried okra, mac n cheese, greens, and Brunswick stew are all amazing—some of the best ever had. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and don’t require any sauce, while the Carolina mustard sauce is very good. The menu could benefit from updates, but the staff is friendly and efficient. With great options for lunch and dinner, including amazing BBQ like brisket, pulled pork, and chicken, this hidden gem in an industrial area is a must-visit for BBQ enthusiasts in Gainesville. The portions are perfect, and there’s a nice selection of draft beers. Don’t let the older building stop you—this place has some great food.
