“Today was sunny, cold day. We stopped by Waffle House for coffee and a soda. Elizabeth was our server. We had bad experience before. Not today she was pleasant. Was slow and quiet. Was able to enjoy the music. Thank you Elizabeth for being here with a nice pleasant visit. God bless all at Waffle House. Keep up the hard work.“
“This Waffle House location was moderately busy when I arrived for breakfast this past Sunday morning. Service was great and the food was delicious. Honestly, I forget what the combo I ordered was called, but it had eggs, hash browns, sausage and toast. A perfect amount and variety for a breakfast to power the start of a day in the mountains. Hard to beat the combination of friendly service, fast cooking, and quality of the meal. And the prices are reasonable, too.“
“My favorite WH in the local area. I drive further and pass up a few others to eat here. The food is always above par, staff is friendly and attentive, always clean, and there isn’t much riff-raff around here. The only complaint is it is a bit challenging making a left hand turn out of the parking lot at certain times of the day.“
“I ordered a basic breakfast plate to go, but I want to give credit to whoever cooked the frozen biscuit. They have a special talent. Not to mention that all the employees were very nice and welcoming. I did not have to wait to order, and the food was ready right away. Excellent service and food.“
“Went for dinner at Waffle House during nighttime for the first time. It was around 9:30 pm and despite a lot of the bad press Waffle House gets especially around late night, the atmosphere here was not bad at all. There were 2 employees and around 5 customers initially. I decided to order a Philly cheesesteak melt with hash browns. The meal along with a lemonade came to around $14 which was not too high and for what I received, I felt stuffed in the end. A party of 12 people around early 20s arrived 15 minutes after me and I observed the staff successfully managing to accommodate and serve the large party. A special shout out to Nancy who took my order. Overall, a good experience. I know now where to go to late at night if I have any cravings!“
“We were craving Waffle House and you guessed it, we met our cravings. If you’re looking for a nostalgic and some southern with a twist diner vibes, if you know what I mean lol. We ordered the all star breakfast, which comes with your choice of grits or hash browns, choice of meat, and waffle. And we order the two eggs and meat breakfast which comes with hash browns, and your choice of meat. It also comes cheese, but we subbed onions and mushrooms. Service was pretty good, our server was fast, and joked here and there. Kept the atmosphere light despite the chaos of customers coming in and out, the cooks and servers, busboys cleaning… overall, a good experience. If you’ve never been to a Waffle House, don’t expect it to be super clean, because they are open 24 hours. But if you’re down for breakfast all day, or a whit bite at any time of the day, this is the spot for you. Great for small or large groups. Till then, let’s eat!“
