“I’ve driven by this place countless amount of times, and never tried it. I finally did, and you should too.

The first thing you notice when you walk in, is how clean the place is. Even the bathroom was impressive. I’ve never seen a small chain take over a spot and actually improve it. This place cares about service.

The food was great! It was most surprising with how much food I got for so cheap. I ordered a fish sandwich at 2 in the afternoon, and it was made at 2 in the afternoon. Freshly cooked, and great!“

The people are so nice! Doesn't take much to please me as a customer, clear communication. That's all. Which they did and threw in some beautiful smiles while they were at it. They saw me waiting outside in the heat and offered me a free meal and drink! Let me come in a little before opening time. I was waiting for them to open before I walked my way back home and I was so dehydrated and Walmart's drink machines swallowed my dollar and gave me nothing. Not even my money back. The food was delicious! I had the three piece whiting combo with fries and hush puppies! I ate every bite! Their tartar sauce *chef's kiss*. I drank Mango or peach juice mixed with lemonade. Beautiful fresh flavor. They even gave me a free refill on my way out. They were more than generous, they were a blessing for me. Will definitely return someday.“

“We arrived with a large group of K-5th grade young ladies from our church and accompanying adults Saturday shortly before 4pm. Our group was 15 children practicing their manners and 8 adults. Management quickly got our table together and seated us. Disappointingly I witnessed several servers at the beverage station staring and whispering “I’m NOT taking them”. Thankfully we didn’t get those servers, and instead we got D’Sean. He was amazing and handled drink orders, timid little girls learning to place their food orders, and adults. I don’t think we could have asked for a better server to be paired with us and he had such a great attitude through it all, making sure we had boxes at the end, and finalizing the tickets quickly so we could get out the door. It was a good size burger and quite filling!The fries were good too, and I wish they would've added more fries to the order. I can't speak to the atmosphere, as I ordered for pickup. “I have been to this particular Captain D's several times in the past two months and every time the food is fresh and hot. That is why I went back the other night and had such a great customer service experience with Michael who took my order. He was so kind and very professional and he sounded like he was glad to take my order. He provided me with customer service that is definitely the exception and not the rule these days. When I pulled around to the window to pay for my food I was smiling and I felt good. As I received my food I thanked him and the two ladies that were there for their kindness. “Okay, I had no true plans to enter but the music and man sitting outside, created an atmosphere that was welcoming. The young man at the front that took the order is an introvert (which is okay). He was kind and let me review my order before leaving.
I got one of each patty, jerk chicken and wings. It was great food. The plantains were hands down my favorite of all local spots I’ve tried.
If I had to give any feedback, it was warm inside (reminded me of being home in PR) but still warm. The rice didn’t taste fresh but it was still good.

“I moved near the Stockbridge area in 2016. My family and I visited this restaurant about every 3 or 4 months (I don't eat out a lot) during the past 8 years. Honestly and sincerely, I never had a bad experience. Good food, fast service, lovingly music, good atmosphere, clean, pleasant Waiters and Watresses. I was really surprised by the few bad comments.
