“Tried Mo Thai and Sushi Bar in McDonough, and the menu had a decent variety. We started with a large appetizer platter that had a little bit of everything—grilled skewers, dumplings, spring rolls, fried calamari, cucumber salad, and several dipping sauces. It was a good way to sample a few different items, and everything came out looking fresh and well prepared.

The grilled skewers were juicy, but I thought they could have used a little more seasoning. I guess the peanut sauce was supposed to be the star of the show, but it was just okay for me. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside, but the filling was a little mushy. The calamari had a light, crunchy coating without being overly greasy, and that was probably my favorite item on the platter. I also liked having several sauces because each one gave the appetizers a different flavor.

We also tried a Hawaiian sushi roll, which was generously topped and had plenty of sauce without completely overpowering the roll. The presentation was nice, and the portion was a good size.

The restaurant itself had a relaxed, casual atmosphere, and the dining room felt clean and comfortable. The service was also great and no issues. Overall, I thought it was a decent spot, especially if you’re with a group that wants different options since you can get Thai food, sushi, grilled items, and appetizers all in one place.

I’ll probably go back, but next time I’m skipping around the appetizer platter and trying more of the sushi.“

I really appreciated how carefully everything was packaged for takeout. Even with the lids steamed up from the heat, the food stayed secure in the bag. I will definitely be coming back soon for another meal.“

“They use to only open for dinner but now are open for lunch as well. My party of three enjoyed our lunchtime meal here. The soup was a little salty for my taste but the hibachi steak and shrimp was excellent. The employees were friendly, helpful and nice to talk to. I would definitely visit again.“
