“We all loved the food and atmosphere. It's very open and bright with plenty of seating and a huge bar. They have a large covered outdoor seating area overlooking the the lake. It was closed due to being so cold in late December though. They also have Top Golf video game golfing but you can also do football, soccer, hockey and baseball. You hit into a backdrop and the screen shows it. They have big couches and a bar in each of the 3 Top Golf stalls.“
“Love this place-small local pub. We come here every time we are in the area. They have the BEST beer cheese anywhere!! Next time we are coming for lunch. Friendly atmosphere. How many places do you go where the owner spends time talking to you, even asks your names?“
“The Tavern is a favorite local pub where the atmosphere reflects the personalities of the owners; friendly, warm, and kind. You are always greeted warmly and it's a comfortable, cozy place to meet people and enjoy conversation. There is often live music and they encourage anyone to share their musical abilities in a low-key setting. It is not a restaurant, but they'll make you a pizza if you ask. This is a private club with an annual membership fee (currently $50). If you are not a member, you can still participate by paying a guest fee (currently $5 per visit). I'm not much of a drinker and have never really frequented bars, but I'm very comfortable at the Tavern and enjoy socializing with the new friends I've made. “Excellent server (forgot the name, darn it). He was knowlegeable, polite, quick, and helpful.The interior is bright, clean, & pleasant with pretty furniture.Overall a very nice family vibe.I was about to order a Taco salad with ground beef... but when pressed, our server suggested a shredded chicken Taco salad, and it was the best Taco Salad imaginable! Seriously! One doesn't expect much from a Taco salad, generally. This one was different. Generous with sour cream, refried beans, guacamole & succulent chicken, etc in a crisp edible bowl. I repeated over & over, "I can't believe how good this is!". My 2 grown sons agreed. And the bill was surprisingly low. Happy to add an appreciative tipThank you!We'll be back.“
“Ate lunch here today after playing tourist in our area. The nachos were in the biggest bowl I have ever seen, and my very picky spouse absolutely raved about them. My burger was perfect. We laughed when we walked in because we too have a big black lab and it made us miss him . Our server was prompt, all staff was friendly, and we will definitely be back!“
“Great upscale rustic ambiance, they have several restaurants, including The Sequoia dining room, a Grill near the Pro Shop, a couple of patios and a bar with music in the evenings. The Golf Course is a very good challenge, too. Their lamb is very good, as well as roasted veggies. The grill has good burgers, Rachel sandwiches (Reubens only with Turkey) and sweet potato fries.“
“Great food and service. Even though we had around twenty guests the staff made every effort to get our orders out without a glitch.There was a couple of goofs but they quickly corrected the issues.They did not rush us and we enjoyed the atmosphere.Parking: I can see where they need an expansion to their parking lot. It also needs to be better lit.“

“We had the best Ham Bean Soup I have ever had. As Rachel Ray says, it was "Delish." Our waiter was great,couldn't do enough for us.This place is always friendly and clean, no matter when you go in.
