The service is good, with exceptional attention from staff. Customers appreciate the relaxing atmosphere, which includes a nice outside dining area with a great lake view, where pets are welcome. The upstairs banquet room is perfect for larger gatherings, but the entrance could use better lighting and a smoother walkway. The 3 meats platter with sausage, pulled pork, and chicken is well-liked. While some found the brisket to be a bit fatty, it is often described as fall-apart tender and perfectly cooked. Sides like baked beans and fried green tomatoes are also excellent, with the tomatoes noted as the best at a restaurant. Prices are reasonable, and portions are usually more than ample. Overall, it's one of the better BBQ spots in the area, with customers frequently returning to enjoy the delicious food.
