“Jewel Treats & More is an absolute 10 out of 10 every time. This bakery consistently delivers in flavor, quality, and customer experience. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy — I’m always greeted with genuine enthusiasm and smiling faces from their staff.

It brings me so much pride to have such an incredible Black-owned business right here in the community. I first visited out of curiosity and left a devoted fan after trying the cinnamon roll pound cake slice. That one slice turned into many — red velvet, blueberry key lime, strawberry pound, and of course the viral cream cheese pound cake. Each one was phenomenal.

Beyond the desserts themselves, you can feel the passion in the kitchen. Ms. Tina and her team pour love, care, and joy into everything they bake — from cookies and cupcakes to banana pudding. Yep I tried that too! My favorite.... Snickerdoodle

Jewel's (as I like to call it) is the kind of business I hope we see more of. I’m always excited to stop in and find out what slice I’ll fall in love with next. Not just a jewel but a gem in its own right.

“I called in to see if they could make a custom gender reveal cake. She said yes and my friend called in to place the order. When I picked up the cake it was beautifully iced and didn’t give away the gender. The staff was very attentive to the fact it was a surprise and I couldn’t find out. We absolutely adored this cake and it was perfect for our gender reveal. So tasty and so cute. Thank you so much for being a part of our big day for our second baby on the way. “Decent biscuits. The steak & egg biscuit was good - the egg was not overcooked. The cinnamon roll was sickeningly sweet with grainy sugar on top...not my fave. The sausage gravy & biscuit was good but $8 for 1 biscuit seems a bit steep when Martins and others (also very good) charge half of that.“

The only thing I would say as a personal preference I got the Tuscan chicken sandwich & the sun-dried tomato spread was heavier than I expected and I didn’t really taste the sun dried tomato’s, the thick prob high calorie mayo spread with the thick focaccia bread was just a little too heavy on the stomach and upset it a little. But it was still delicious. Excited to try the lattes & the balsamic sandwich.“

“The bread store. Always has been on our list of happy places. We buy enormous loads of breads to feed as treats to our chickens and ducks, plus, we can get gravy mixes, cookies, snack cakes, etc., there, for much less than at the grocery store. (The birds are huge dinner roll fans...)“

After finding Just Because Bakeshop’s website and browsing the photo gallery, I knew I had to schedule a consultation to share my vision for the event—and I’m so glad I did! I recently ordered a custom baby boy shower cake for my daughter’s “A Little Pumpkin is On The Way” shower, held on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The cake truly exceeded all expectations. The five (5) star craftsmanship was stunning—the colors, details, and topper were absolutely picture-perfect. Most importantly, the flavor was incredible: rich, moist, and freshly baked. “5 X 100 STARS!!! I went to McEntyre Bakery/Dallas-GA.....and purchased a single layer CARAMEL CAKE....and I must say......IT IS ***DELICIOUS***!!!! So MOIST.....delicious SMOOTH CARAMEL....with NO aftertaste that I have found in some caramel cakes. Just simply delicious. I have been looking SO long for a person or bakery that can make a GREAT CARAMEL CAKE.....and.....I FOUND THAT TODAY. If the single layer tastes THIS GOOD....THIS YUMMY.....I'm so afraid of having that double layer in the house with me.....LOL. Tastes like the old fashioned caramel cake I remember from back in the day.I had tried 2 other well known bakeries for caramel cakes.....and paid a LOT more than what I paid at McEntyre.....and I wasted money on those places. When I venture home to visit family again.....I will be taking one ...or 2....of these cakes. I also purchased a couple of strawberry cake squares and some homemade chicken salad....they were delicious as well......BUT......that CARAMEL CAKE........took the CAKE!!!!--LOL“

“Absolutely amazing! I asked to get my wife a cake and other items she would like. Super helpful and gracious (I asked if they can do it within 48 hrs which normally, they ask for 72 hrs). It looked and tasted amazing!!! She loved it.

“Kroger, is definitely a store that whatever my family and I need, they always have.Very seldom , I might not be able to find the item I'm needing.That's usually rare , when that happens.I do love Kroger's cream horn, that they sell in the bakery.I would definitely say....the best of any other grocery store around.“
