Their bakery selection has plenty of the “classics” as well as unique fun flavors that you won’t be able to get anywhere else in town (Thai tea cupcakes, red bean croissants, kimchi scones). Their cakes are on another level as well! And I’m always surprised at how low my total is (they’ve got great prices). “DELICIOUS food, DYNAMIC environment, FRIENDLY staff! I came to Big City Bread with no expectations and left pleasantly surprised and full! I took the HELPFUL recommendation of worker MAISY who helped me decide on the CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. The line WAIT TIME can get pretty long at peak time, so don’t expect to walk in and be serviced immediately! The French Toast is crispy, like a true crunchy toast, and lends well to syrup without becoming too sickly sweet! The potatoes were extra crispy and well-seasoned with the perfect fresh garnish on top, aioli paired well with them. Finally, the fresh fruit, which can never go wrong, was a good serving size with a good variety of fruit!“

“Every time I enter this bakery I am transported back to Paris. The aromas let you know it all will be delicious. Great staples like baguettes, rolls and croissants but is the unique danishes and scones I adore!!! Never a disappointment.“

“Starting off, the food was very good. I had a breakfast burrito with added sausage and it was killer. The portions were also pretty large which was good. We also had the pumpkin muffin which was also very good. The service was good as well, we had to wait a little bit because she was on the phone but other than that she was very nice and even help us change an order we needed. The overall interior was very cute, a converted house to the restaurant. Had a great experience, only downside was the price. For two people we spent about 40 dollars, which is honestly fine for what we got.“

“Amazinggggg. We usually come here for coffees but the chocolates are great as well. I highly recommend a caramel latte. The flavor of the coffee itself is incredible but paired with their house made caramel just takes it over the top. You won’t find a better caramel latte in Athens.“

“I’m so glad I ordered Cecilia’s cakes for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. I was planning to get a tiered cake from somewhere like Publix, but then decided to get 5 different 10” cakes instead. They were delicious! The strawberry cake, the coconut meringue, and the Spanish lemon were all incredible!! I had been looking forward to trying these at the wedding, and they did not disappoint. Each cake was luxurious, moist, and flavorful, with equally yummy icing (and I’m not usually a big fan of icing). The cakes were beautiful and impressively big - we had lots left over : ) Thank you!“
