“Best restaurant in Georgia Everything on the menu is fresh, delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. I live on Saint Simons Island and eat there almost every day. Everyone from the management to the staff are hard-working, friendly and do a fantastic job. If you give it a try it will be your favorite restaurant. You will not be disappointed and Barbara Jean and Jim Barta Will see to it that you are super satisfied.“

“The view was amazing. Patio seating or indoor seating is available. Took out of town friends here for brunch and it was delicious. Omelets, biscuits & gravy with eggs, grits bowl. Friendly service. Plenty of parking under the building. And an elevator that takes you to the 5th floor Rooftop restaurant/ bar.“

“The Glynn Academy Girl's Golf Team won the 6A State Championship on Tuesday, May 17, at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. They chose to celebrate together at Marshside afterwards. Once the waitress/owner found out they were State Champs, they put all of their meals on the house. What a super generous thing for them to do to show their support for their local High School! Thank you Marshside & Go Terrors!“
“What a wonderful treat dining in The Lodge at Sea Island Oak Room was for my wife and I. We stopped in on a slow post-Thanksgiving weekday evening and were treated to a wonderful delicious dinner. Our server Cericka was excellent. We were seated quickly by the hostess and ordered two Prosecco's. We enjoyed a delicious mini biscuits with bacon butter appetizer. My wife ordered a wonderful 6oz filet with Boursin whipped potatoes, roasted autumn veggies, and scallion steak sauce. I ordered the blackened Redfish with crab fried rice, green gumbo, and pickled Okra. Both entrees were served hot and were delicious. Bon Appetit“

“Even in the chilly temps - the staff were professional and engaging, the food was prompt and flavorful. Don’t overpay for the California favorite Cabs - the house Private Selection was a great value. We will be back! Loved the deviled eggs app, the flavorful Cesar and the seafood gumbo! “Since this Shane's changed hands, I have been looking at the quality & quantity of food provided. Initially the chicken tenders increased in size; however, recently, they have returned to their old size. Not necessarily small but not large either. Flavor is good overall.“

“Picked this spot out to hear karaoke and enjoy my evening.
That is exactly what happened.
The service was prompt, courteous, and friendly.
The music and young people were singing and dancing like they should be in their young stage of life.
That was so wonderful to see.
Even the smallest of children would join in the fun.
Such an awesome evening and loved the karaoke.
Such a warm and friendly spot in Redfern Village.
Highly recommend.“
