“Wow where do I begin to rave a about this place. Lao Wei Dao is one of the best places in Atlanta i have tried to get fresh hand made variations of dumplings. The pork bao soup buns are amazing. The pork dumplings along with chili oil on the side are so good a nice soft chewy texture. The beef and scallion pancakes are a meal in its self. The pork shrimp wonton soup was loaded with juicy large dumplings. I highly recommend to come and try this place before trying any other dim sum restaurants in Atlanta. The price you pay for freshly hand made dumplings here is unmatched. If Icould rate this place it would be 10 🌟's.“

However, the hot and sour soup was great. Haven’t had hot and sour soup this good in a while. I also had the Mongolian beef and it was good! The fried rice could use a little life, but it wasn’t salty and I enjoyed it.

“Was there a management change recently?? I got the Yum Yum Shrimp and Chicken lo mein yesterday and neither was what I have gotten before. The yum yum shrimp were basically over battered small shrimp with a side of sauce in a container. This was not at all what I’ve ordered before. The chicken in the lo mein usually is very chunky, juicy and very flavorful, therefore putting it a step above other Chinese takeout places. This was not the case this time. It looked and tasted like every other takeout spot. The chicken was shaved very thin, had no flavor and there were way too many vegetables mixed in. Very disappointed and won’t be going back.“

“Sunshine has been a staple in my family for 10+ years. Each dish is flavored and cooked to perfection everytime. Service is always fantastic and I enjoy conversing with the staff. I look forward to every visit knowing my experience will be just as great as the previous or better.“

So spicy you sit there sweating but you get a bowl of rice to help you simmer down. The cold noodles are also amazing. I like to start with those while the other dishes cool down a little. I don't know what witchcraft they have but the fish, beef and noodles are all silky smooth -- looove it.

The prices at this place are also hard to beat. We got 3 dishes with generous portions for less than $40. That's nearly impossible nowadays for this quality of food. The only problem is the environment. It's within the food court of Great Wall Supermarket. Super convenient for shopping, but it's not the cleanest. The tables aren't always wiped down and sometimes there are flies hovering. It was also super warm inside. But whatever we keep coming back for the stellar food and prices.“

“This is a really exceptional restaurant. The smokey wok flavor really comes through on the Seafood Vermicelli Chow Mei Fun / XO that I got. The Snow Pea Tips had good quality real crab meat in the egg sauce, and it tasted really fresh. The fried fish with XO sauce had a unique taste that I've never had before, and it might be the best fried fish I've ever eaten! I mixed some of the XO sauce and puffed rice from the fried fish with some white rice and made a whole new delicious flavor! The chili oil was really good, too. It's not as hot as I am used to, but it used Scechuan peppercorns like you are supposed to, instead of just red pepper flakes. The flavor was top-notch!

The food is served in the traditional Chinese family style, where they give you big serving dishes that are meant to be shared, and then everyone eats some of everything out of their own small bowls. If everyone gets their own thing, there is no way you will be able to finish.

All of the food tasted very fresh. I am excited to bring my family and friends here to let them try the food. I have to have that fish again. I'll try to post more pictures of the food the next time I come back.“

“A new Chinese restaurant has opened in Samwongak. It seems to be much cleaner and the food is cleaner. Jajangmyeon was very cheap at $7, but the taste was just so-so. The oyster jjamppong I ordered together was delicious, but the Cheongyang peppers were a bit too spicy every time I bit into them. I like the spicy soup with Cheongyang peppers, but I wish they didn't add it as a garnish. The sweet and sour pork with glutinous rice was fried crispy and delicious without any meaty smell. It was nice that the servers responded kindly.“

“I just ordered there for lunch early this morning, and just picked it up. I have got to say this is the most delicious Chinese food I have had in a long time. The sweet and sour pork was tender, the kung po chicken is deliciously spicy, the vegetables are cooked to perfection, and the general Tso is amazing! And of course the Crab rangoon had that nice crunch with the cream cheese filling and the soups are perfect for this cold weather.
