Ms Dao is working the “dining room” and with the most friendly smile she directs me to an open seat. I was delighted. Then she notices I forgot to pick up napkins so she runs over and brings me some! This is hospitality. I hope her boss sees this and recognizes her servant heart. We need more people like this that give hope to the world!“

“As someone with a lot of food restrictions, I LOVE that Boxcar provides the option to inform them of your food needs in their reservation system. And I can attest that they take it very seriously. When I showed up, they confirmed my food restrictions at each stage (hostess, server taking the order, server delivering the order)... but it didn't feel stressful or oppressive at all. They were kind and understanding.

Aside from that, the food is great (whether you have restrictions or not), the atmosphere is fun, and it's a GREAT place to bring large or small groups. I've been there several times, and each time it has been a wonderful experience.“

“I ordered a vegan turkey sub, they ran out of the Turkey, so I went to Kroger and purchased vegan deli slices and let me tell you, THIS WAS STILL THE BEST SUB I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! I told the owner I would do a honest review and yall, im not playing!!!! They are on to something here. Forreal! The sub was amazing. The bread was superb, soft, fluffy and im almost 100% certain that the secret ingredient was luv! I mean, the fact that they ran out of vegan turkey and I am still making a great review......I had to go to the store and buy some turkey to go on this sub and it was still well worth it. I look forward to trying the sub with the vegan turkey but yall, my honest opinion, these folks love what they do and it makes the food impeccable. These are blessed hands cheffing it up back there. “I heard about The Black Coffee Company from someone this morning because they knew I was looking for a space to do some work with good coffee. I immediately drove over and when I tell you Crystal made me the Killer Mike and she made it a little sweet for me and Brianna topped my taste buds off with the avocado toast with everything on it. This is my new favorite spot. The music is great, not too loud that you can’t work but just right. I highly recommend them. They are a whole vibe.“

They’re still rocking early 2000s pricing: 4 tacos for just $10. You really can’t beat that.

I ordered two steak, one chicken, and one shrimp… and the steak was so good I had to go back for four more. Juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked just right. The soft tacos have this incredible cheese-crusted backing that gives you a slight crisp on the outside while the inside stays warm and soft — perfect texture in every bite.

All the toppings are freshly cut and taste like it. Nothing soggy, nothing bland — just clean, fresh flavor all the way through.

“This is the best bar on the southside. Manny is the best bartender in my opinion. He always acknowledges you when you come in and makes sure you have a good time. “Came here Saturday afternoon after hearing that they had some of the best hummus in Atlanta and WOW!!! They were spot on! The hummus is incredible and the pickled veggies it comes with were very special. The hummus came with pita bread which was the best pita bread I’ve ever tasted.

Their menu has 10” pizzas, sandwiches, and hummus bowls. Everything is made fresh to order and the staff were very courteous. I’m definitely coming back to try some of their sandwiches. The Hulk and Flying V are supposed to be very good and are vegan which is perfect for me! 100% worth checking out!“
