“We were staying a few days in Atlanta and walked to this little coffee shop. It had been highly recommended to us by our good friends. We took our dogs and sat on the patio. I ordered a vegan biscuit and vegan sausage. A smiling gentleman brought it out, and he had given us an extra vegan, blueberry scone. Everything about this little coffee shop was so welcoming and warm. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend it.“

“Fantastic food. While it may appear a limited menu, there are a number of items off menu including the street food items and daily items. That said, there's not one thing on the menu that will disappoint. The nuts are delicious and the addition of chili and fried kaffir lime leaves combine for a sublime flavor. Spiced pork and pineapple kebabs had a huge depth of flavor and spicy warmth. The crispy rice salad is probably one of the best salads I've ever eaten. The fish was amazing, cooked to perfection in a warm thick spicy sauce that was the perfect complement and more than sufficient for two. Cocktails were both strong and great. Prices excluding drinks were just over $50 each, so great value.“

“Great Ambience. Spacious and comfortable setting with ample room for entertaining small activities with attentive staff. The coffee selection was great and menu selection included a variety of sandwiches and pastries which were tantalizing especially for the average locals. If you're looking for a small, cozy, meetup, this tucked away location is very accessible from (3) main roads with a good amount of parking available.“

There are high chairs for little dinners. It's a place for everyone...Order, pay and take your number to your choice of table. “Tried 5 dishes and two desserts: all were good to great. Cocktails were bomb. Super super reasonably priced, which is a fresh air in a big city like ATL for this type of places on the hype side. However guys, blasting eurodance for dinner? One song maybe not a playlist, no one wants to eat listening to scatman.“

“8 hours into an 20 hour road trip, my partner and I arrived in Atlanta at about 7 am. Unfortunately, I'm a bit over the top when it comes to coffee and insisted we stop at something that wasn't a love's.It was a quiet and rainy morning. The shop had a sleepy/cozy feeling and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They were also very patient with my very groggy self. I really enjoyed the lavender latte I ordered and grabbed some beans to go.They also have a great selection of some interesting beers, wine, cocktails, coffee beans, and non alcoholic beers/beverages. The next time we come to Atlanta, we'll definitely be back!“

“I have had Hummus all over he planet and I can’t believe that the best is at Firewall in Atlanta. I dream about this good. Oh, and the pitas are fresh baked and not really like normal hard cardboard ones - these are fluffy and tasty. But don’t get me started on the cookies!! They had two kind that they made in house. The sesame one had tahini in it reminding me a little but of halvah but yummy and super crumbly in your mouth. The chocolates ones did not make it home :)Go. Try it.“

“Sat at the bar on a Friday afternoon. The service was very good and quick, and the food was some of the best Mexican in town. When I went I had just spent a week in Mexico - the tequila and mezcal selection is more than I have seen in most restaurants in town. Definitely recommend!“

“One of my favorite cafes in Atlanta. Always a great coffee and breakfast sandwich. One of their staple characteristics is that every meal comes with a melody of assorted fruits. I am biased because they do offer our high quality acai straight from brazil . Moreover, I do what i do because I get to partner with the bet establishments in the city of Atlanta! Here we come ! Make sure to visit, and bring your laptop or a book, the playlist will be guaranteed to keep you a little while longer and the super rare antiques abundantly spread across the cafe will have you scheduling your next visit. Lastly, the people who work at Jpresso and those that frequent it for a nice time are all great. Make sure to make a friend. Hapeville has a winner with this one!“
“Great beer with large variety to choose from. Very likely you’ll find something you like or at least something interesting and all high quality. Speedy service even when busy, they take care of you. Tough space for an event, but great place to catch a game and some drinks and relax solo or with friends.“

“Downstairs service is super slow. They'll give you a few excuses why???. They were clearly more interested in serving the regulars and one of the bar tenders told me that I don't have to only order with her but I could order from anyone behind the bar. But then nobody behind the bar came to ask if I needed anything. Smh.But go upstairs and they'll serve you pretty quickly.“

“Awesome experience, food was delicious and very hot when it came out. I had to wait 10 minutes for it to cool off. The portions were huge. I had enough for two lunches. The meat and cheese tray appetizer was amazing, delivered on a lazy Susan plate. Service was awesome. The price was reasonable. One of the better food establishments I've been to in a while in Atlanta. The decor was amazing I was transported to somewhere in Europe. A hidden gem.“

“Love this place. Been here maybe five times since coming to ATL in 2020. Would get here more, but I'm rarely downtown on a weekday, and this place isn't open on weekends. It's mainly to-go, couple tables outside with maybe 10 parking spots (recently paved). You used to order outside, but now you can order inside. They take cards, ApplePay, Wallet etc., but there's a $10 minimum for non-cash. Any combo will get you past that threshold. I've only ever gotten the lamb gyro with fries. Someday I'll try something else, but I like that gyro too much. Meaty, fresh vegetables and a sauce that's just right (not heavy or too runny). The Halal lamb is seared with almost a crust on the outside. Fresh and healthy and not greasy--I don't like those things, and I would not come here repeatedly if that was the case.“

“The service is amazing. The barista explained everything in detail as this was my first time coming to this shop. He even gave me a few tips. If I come back it’s only because of his service. I did enjoy the coffee it was smooth and an interesting combo, I had a lavender mint latte.Because it was raining, I could not enjoy my breakfast onsite and sat in the car, they only have outdoor seating and it is a very small location,The sad part is the food, I ordered an empanada and it was no flavor. The barista gave me some chimichuri sauce and it didn’t help.“
“I had an incredible dining experience at Elsewhere Brewing! The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I ordered the Double Smash Burger, and it was hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. The two perfectly smashed patties were juicy and flavorful, topped with melted American cheese, diced onions, pickles, and Frank's secret sauce, all nestled in a soft Martin's Sesame Seed Bun. I decided to add a fried egg and bacon, which took the burger to the next level. The side Caesar salad was a nice touch, providing a fresh and crisp contrast to the rich burger. My friend opted for the House Chicken Sandwich with a customized twist. They added seasonal vegetables to their order, which came alongside the sandwich and fries. The grilled chicken breast was topped with fresh lettuce, red onion, and ranch dressing, served on a bun. The colorful medley of seasonal vegetables added a healthy and tasty dimension to the meal. My friend thoroughly enjoyed their personalized dish and was impressed with the quality of the ingredients. To complement my meal, I ordered an old fashioned, and it was simply perfect. The cocktail was well-balanced, with a large ice sphere and a citrus garnish, showcasing the bartender's skill and attention to detail. The food presentation was excellent, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. I highly recommend Elsewhere Brewing to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a welcoming atmosphere. The staff's willingness to accommodate customizations was a big plus. I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu offerings and to enjoy another one of their expertly crafted cocktails.“
“Amazing spot with unbeatable vibes, music and food! The oysters are superb with much of the other menu items to match. Madison is lovely and I am so happy to have discovered this place! Also A++++ to the fact that I don't even like beer and discovered a few that I enjoyed.“
“The Belgian is tasty Cool rotating food vendors throughout the week Trivia is garbage. Subjective and not brainy at all. Questions about celebrities and weird creativity prompts unrelated to any knowledge base. Open garage vibe with some pinball. Noisy when busy“

“I love the burgers here, particularly the eponymous "brake pad" with fresh jalapeno, cheddar and bacon cooked to temperature (medium rare for me). Nice outdoor seating with a view of the traffic. Not the greatest parking -- parallel park on Rugby or back into Main St on your way out. But it's better for not being the type of place you'd find in a strip mall“

“Emerald city bagels is the gem of EAV, stopped by here for a brunch on a busy monday morning. Even though the shop was packed we only had to wait for 5-6 minutes. Love their collection of bagels and toppings. We got all different kinds and were not disappointed. The only thing was they forgot to toast our bagels I'd blame it on the rush. The quality was exceptional and service was fast. It is Diner/Atl themed with some up-cycled Marta seats in the cafe. Seating is limited but they have both indoor and outdoor. There is free street parking and some garage near by. You can bring your fur baby here and enjoy the outdoor seating. I highly recommend it for bagel lovers or someone looking to get brunch. Their coffee is also amazing!“

“I loved Petit Chou so much I brought a friend there four days after the first time I went! Best waffle I've ever eaten. Delicious Benedict. Spicy Bloody Mary with plenty of accoutrements. Really nice attentive waitstaff. It's small so we were lucky to get a table right away on the weekend, but no wait during the week. Cosy.“
“We were visiting the area for the weekend and wanted somewhere to drink and relax other than the hotel bar. Hapeville is friendly, walkable, and felt safe (a relief after a violent incident on MARTA ?). Staff here were friendly, great drinks, loved the beef tacos, and the beer garden was a nice space to chill.“

“Allow me to set the mood! It’s Hoopz last night in Atlanta before moving back to Seattle. As such, I wanted something close to his area, good, and that I had never tied before. Naturally I end up on Yelp performing a search and Boom! I stumbled across Argosy. Though I have been in this area numerous times, I have never noticed Argosy. However, tonight was the night… I was excited as the restaurant has its own private lot. Woo Hoo! Anyone who knows the area can’t attest that parking is not the best when it comes to available spaces. Once parked, we headed inside. Argosy is humongous. I’m talking super big covered patio area in the front, when you walk through that space to get to the main area, the inside is HUGE as well. The setup has your organic local bar feel and is musically vibrant and upbeat. Upon walking in we were seated within moments. The table setup makes good use of the space as you don’t feel crowded at all. We were a party of 2 and the tables next to us were a party of 10 and we both had ample space. As I looked over the menu, this is the traditional bar food menu with the Argosy twist. This makes for a limited selection to choose from, however, there is at least one traditional favorite of each food element in the menu. Our server arrived at the table within moments, welcomed us to the venue and took our drink orders. She was very pleasant and displayed a joyous smile. After a few moments of burger vs. fries, I decided to get the Wings and Fries and babeeeeeeeeeee. These wings were amazing. The wings come in a sauce I have never had before, and now that I have had it, I want to continue having it. It’s like a Buffalo style sauce not too spicy, with an Argosy taste twist to them. As far as the French fries… Hear me clearly. The art of a Homemade fry is not something everyone can execute well. However, Argosy has discovered the ART of fry making. The fries are crunchy on the outside, however, soft and fluffy on the inside. Furthermore, the fries are lightly salted which brings out the authentic taste of the potato. To make it even better, the fries aren’t too oily or overly greasy. Though I loved my wings, the French fries stole the night!! All in all, I will be back at Argosy soon as I MUST try the burger next.“

“The St. Louis ribs were delicious, expertly prepared with a perfect balance of smoke and glaze—not too dry or wet. The meat had the ideal texture, offering just the right amount of tug, bite, and chew. While I'm not particularly fond of the light vinegar or mustard-based BBQ sauces they offer, which are typical of Georgia and Carolina BBQ, the ribs themselves were satisfying. The tater tots were also cooked perfectly—hot and extra crispy. In terms of ribs alone, they didn't disappoint and are likely the best available in the local area. Although a bit pricey, the quality makes it worthwhile. Service mainly involved ordering at the counter and having food brought to the table, while other tasks like fountain drinks and condiments were self-service. The manager did check on us, which was a nice touch.“

“Dakota Blue provided a delightful brunch experience last weekend. The outdoor seating was a perfect choice for the beautiful spring weather. The server was friendly and offered excellent recommendations. I tried their mango margarita, which was both refreshing and potent, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. For my main dish, I ordered the Southern Chix, which featured fried chicken on a biscuit. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The biscuits were incredibly buttery, adding a rich and savory element to the dish. Overall, Dakota Blue exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great brunch spot.“

“I could write an article on DAS but I have to keep it brief. I understand how to create irresistible atmospheres, hospitable service and consider myself a foodie as I intermittent fast daily and eat once a day. My meals are important. I have now found not only a place in Atlanta with a fun and inviting ambiance with over the top service but also the absolute best BBQ restaurant in Atlanta, DAS BBQ! Thus far, I have had the BBQ Pork, Ribs, Brisket, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Mac N Cheese, Das Corn, Brunswick Stew, and Banana Pudding and IMHO the most important aspect, which is the meat seasoning and the sauces. No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. Praying DAS opens on the southside of Atlanta. I will be your biggest raving fan!“

But on Sunday my husband and I went in for “brunch”…. Let me tell y’all, the atmosphere combined with the perfect weather on the patio was perfect. His Texas Margarita and my Expresso Martini were made with perfection. Our server, Bri is the BOMB…even though she’s a Steeler’s fan. The expediters had our delicious, hot food out in record time. “I have no idea how I missed this place opening; what a fantastic local spot, in an area that definitely needed some great food and drink options. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. I am so glad we didn't skip the appetizers; the Fried Green Tomato special was out of this world, with pimento cheese and candied bacon. It was enough for 6 people to share. We didn't try the pizza, but the nearby diners clearly enjoyed every slice, so we'll be trying a couple next time. We can speak highly of both soup options - the Tomato Basil bisque and French Onion soup were both among the best we've had locally in years. The Cuban sandwich was also a standout dish. With great cocktails, fast and friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere, I hope Firepit Pizza Tavern continues to be successful and stays in this area for many years to come. I also wish I lived next door so it could be my local bar. Outstanding.“
