“Passing through on our way to Atlanta. This place was close to our hotel and had a covered patio where they welcomed our toy poodle. THEN, the service, the food! Best oysters on the half shell ever - rivaling the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station in New York City. Fried green tomatoes - delicious! Popcorn shrimp terrific! Yummy Cole slaw and cheesy grits. I was amazed and delighted to have found this treasure. Such friendly and fun staff served us very quickly and graciously. Great experience!!!“

“We have been going to Austin’s for years! We have been anxiously waiting for the new building and was finally able to experience Austin’s in its new location (right behind the old location) and it didn’t disappoint! The food is still great, the service still friendly and the restaurant still nostalgic. I love that they brought all the decor from the old place, especially that famous alligator 🐊 Thank You Austin’s for staying Austin’s“

“We were tired from driving all day and didn’t want to go out….we ate here. I am a burger connoisseur, so I know good. It was great! My husband had the wings….they were cooked perfectly. We also had drinks from the bar and they were spot on. And Cora, our waitress, was so attentive!“

“Waiter Mr. Ray and employees were great!! There was only one issue, there was a piece of metal from the grill brush in the burrito but this is not a complaint at all, the employees fixed it immediately and gave us a discount! I promise no complaint at all, great service just wanted to make sure they just watch out for it, cause I would not want anybody to get hurt.“

“Best decision after a long road trip — amazing food and service
We stopped at this restaurant on our way home after a long trip. We were extremely hungry but really didn’t want any fast food, and choosing this place was honestly the best decision.
Everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed after being on the road.
The service was also amazing — the staff was so friendly, welcoming, and made us feel very comfortable.
We truly enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back again when we are in the area. Highly recommend!“

“I travel the country for a living. Spent a few days/nights here after work. You can not ask for nicer people. The owner is wonderful, the lead bartender is top notch. Twin Lakes made me feel like I had a home away from mine. Plenty of space for family, kiddos, etc. If you're looking for the spot in town. Twin Lakes it is. Thanks to Captain T and his establishment.“
