“I was incredibly surprised by both the service and food here. They don't have a large operation, or a big kitchen, yet they pay attention to their customers and they care. The food coming out of there is on par with many of your higher dollar restaurants yet costs wayyyyyyyy less. I had the filet and the nailed my temp on it. My baked potato was perfect, the baked beans were stupid good. I'm pretty sure they had brisket in them. But man they were good. My drink, the Triple Berry Smash was delicious and their bartender was very good at her job. 👌“

“Passing through on our way to Atlanta. This place was close to our hotel and had a covered patio where they welcomed our toy poodle. THEN, the service, the food! Best oysters on the half shell ever - rivaling the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station in New York City. Fried green tomatoes - delicious! Popcorn shrimp terrific! Yummy Cole slaw and cheesy grits. I was amazed and delighted to have found this treasure. Such friendly and fun staff served us very quickly and graciously. Great experience!!!“

We have been anxiously waiting for the new building and was finally able to experience Austin’s in its new location (right behind the old location) and it didn’t disappoint! The food is still great, the service still friendly and the restaurant still nostalgic. “Haven't been in over 5 years, and I was glad to see the service and the food have improved immensely! We had an appetizer of onion rings, the 5 oz Bourbon glazed Salmon plate with carrots and broccoli and the Pork chop dinner with mashed potatoes and southern green beans. The wife especially liked the croissants with the honey butter drizzle, had to take one home! The portions were good, not too much, but enough to take some home. All in all a good evening, we'll be back!“
