After having dined at a number of trendy beach restaurant/bars, it was a nice change of pace to order comfort foid at a family styhle restaurant. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. I had fried chicken and my wife had liver and onions. We were both content with our meals. Our waitress, Tina, was great. My only complaint was not with the restaurant but with the parents at a nearby table that did not discipline their obnoxious children.
First time trying this place. I liked the atmosphere, which was very warm and inviting. I ordered the fried chicken, collards, and yellow squash. The collard green was a little too salty for my taste, so I swapped for the candid yams. The squash was amazing and fresh.
