“I just stopped by for a quick lunch based on recommendations from family. I had no thoughts of even reviewing this restaurant. But once I tasted the food, I had no choice. This restaurant checked all of the boxes, for their category of culinary selections. In the top two country cooking restaurants I know of anywhere. I would rate them a Michelin star plus.”

“Gumlog Brewery has been such a fun addition to downtown Lavonia. Even though we don’t drink, I love their wine slushes and their pretzels with cheese dip — so good! They’ve brought such a great energy to downtown with evening events and a fun atmosphere for the community. It’s been really nice to see our town have more places to gather and enjoy time together.”

“Wow! Come on over to Lavonia. Exceptional food. Smoked pork. Beef. Chicken. Brisket. Brisket was so so good. And wait till you have their Brunswick Stew and cornbread. Worth a drive to get there. Such a cool place!!!!!”

“We love to go to Gumlog. They have the best catfish around. Steaks are great, they are so tender that they just melt in your mouth. Waitress's are so friendly they make you want to come back. All around it is one of the best places around to eat”

“I had to seat myself X5 people came in after I did and ordered my food BTW. They received their food prior to mine. I asked the waitress about my food. She then gave my food 20mins later. Everything was COLD! grits w/lumps cold, bacon cold, cheese eggs cold, the toast was old/cold! I spoke with the waitress and left NO TIP! WORST W/H EVER!!!”

The staff is always friendly, and the specialty drinks—especially the Salted Caramel Mocha—are fantastic. Their breakfast and lunch options, like the avocado toast and bacon and egg croissant, make it a great place to fuel up for a busy day. If you’re in Lavonia, Vintage Cup is a must-visit!”

“Just went through the drive-through had a blizzard & it was like I thought it was going to taste great!..I don't really care for dairy queen food except for the ice cream & their blizzards. Went through the drive-through & it was pretty quick with a lot of cars on a Friday evening & went very well friendly employees &.all from the drive-through. Did not go inside.”

“I wish I could give Moriah and this store 100 stars!!! We were in the area for a funeral and due to some impending weather many of the people planning to help provide for the luncheon after the service were not comfortable being out with a storm coming. While totally understandable, this left us scrambling the night before to come up with a way to serve lunch to 40-60 people. We were freaking out! CB and Moriah came through in a big way assuring they could make it happen and get it delivered to the church for the luncheon on time and they did just that. So incredibly grateful for the kindness and execution in our time of need! Well done!”

We took the food home to enjoy and it was still hot and the fries were still crispy and had just the right amount of salt!!!!
