“I'm usually very critical of such places but let's be realistic about it, this is an extended dinner with entertainment. It was fine and, in fact, the chicken was surprisingly good. The limited soft drink options was a disappointment and the entertainment was just a family fun time. Overall. a very nice 3 hours (approximately) which was just long enough to not get boring. “Outstanding Food and Overall Experience! - Reservation for 8 to celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday (4:30 on a Friday). We almost changed our mind, because we learned my oldest daughter and her hubby had a bad experience at this restaurant in 2021. So glad we gave it another chance. Restaurant is under new management, and it shows! From the greeters at the door with smiles making a first impression, to a personable, attentive server (LeLe), excellent food and engagement by the manager being visible and interacting with guests - it was well worth our time. Total enjoyment! Our group had the snapper, salmon, shrimp & grits, catfish and one vegetarian who made a meal from the sides. Food was beautifully plated and presented and everything was hot & fresh, well seasoned and tasted great. Generous portions too. We also had the bourbon glazed brussels, skillet cornbread and the sticky ribs as appetizers. HIGHLY recommend the brussels and the ribs!! It was the first day testing the ribs, so you may have to ask for them, if they're not on the menu yet. Appreciated the free birthday dessert! If you had a previous bad experience over the last couple of years, you may want to try again. The new manager has the right attitude and a good vision for setting a new standard for The Parkside District. Keep it up! We will definitely visit again. We are glad to recommend the restaurant!“

“My family and I had the best time on Saturday night here! We’d never been but were invited to join by a friend who performs there sometimes- lead singer of “The Unknown”! The service was amazing, the jams were jamming!! We went thinking we’d stay an hour and we stayed 4 hours! The drinks were flowing, service was awesome (Go Stretch) and the band made it an entire vibe. We can’t wait to go back next time they perform!“

“I'll probably never go to IHOP again. Here's the deal: Sometimes my daughters just want pancakes or waffles, but I'm keto so this is a problem. Omelets are the obvious solution. Cracker Barrel is not conveniently located for us, and they don't have waffles. At IHOP they proudly boast that their omelets have a splash of pancake batter in the mix. (Why? Who thought this was a good idea?)

At pancake house, they make a fantastic omelet. I order it with bacon, sausage and cheddar. They don't just crumble up a slice of bacon. It's filled with and covered by bacon and sausage. Meaty goodness in every bite. I get a fruit cup on the side that has a keto sized portion of melon.

My daughter got the chicken and waffles. It looked amazing. The syrup was served hot. The chicken was golden-brown and thick and juicy.

The service is always great here. It was busy but not crowded. The meal arrived promptly and exactly as ordered.

“Our experience at Local Republic was so good we went twice during our visit to Lawrenceville. On Saturday we went for an appetizer and drinks. We sat at the bar and our service was fantastic. Her timing was above par! We had the Korean Chicken Wings, boneless wings generously tossed in gochjang sauce. They were so good, I seriously considered ordering again on Sunday just to take home. We had espresso martinis, made with vodka. They were really good and for those of us who are lactose intolerant, they do not contain dairy. We went back on Sunday for their Sunday brunch. Highly recommend! When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lady who was our bartender on Saturday. She immediately recognized us and welcomed us back. We were seated right away and the server also recognized us, even though he had not waited on us on Saturday. He also provided exceptional service. My husband had the brisket tostada served with a runny egg on top. He really enjoyed it and I had a bite. Definitely something we would order again. I had their shrimp and grits. I am normally not one to eat grits, but these were so good, I couldn’t stop myself. They were served with a tomato sauce the was spicy, andouille sausage and roasted red peppers. It was so good! I can hardly wait to have my leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. Unfortunately, my husband devoured his Brisket Tostada, so no leftovers there. Overall, I cannot recommend Local Republic enough for their exceptional food and service. Their prices are reasonable as well. Our tab on Sunday, which included one more espresso martini, was only $51.“

“This is nice to eat outside, but they have indoors as well. Great service and food, while the ambience is plain, but it's often an event space which explains it. Also, if you're more comfortable with hallal, you're in luck.

The cevapi with cream cheese and ajvar on the fantastic lipenja which was grilled with little bits of crispiness on the edges was soooo good.

They had a special which they called filet, which was with mashed potatoes, asparagus, brown gravy and meat, but it is not a filet mignon, but a regular filet of steak about 1.3 cm (half an inch) thick, to be clear. There is a clear difference between the buttery tenderness of a filet mignon and a regular filet of steak. The request was medium well, but it ended up well done. It's tricky because meat keeps cooking for a minute after it's taken from the heat, and at the point of medium well, if not removed slightly early, it becomes well done.

Thanks to the restaurant for feeding Lawrenceville's finest as it's apparently popular with some of the local police as a place to have great coffee and eat.

The coffee is proper coffee like you'd find in the Balkans, Ukraine, Israel, etc. It's not Turkish coffee but is the excellent quality you expect in the region, just like you find quality coffee in Italy, and these are far superior to anything you can get at Starbucks or any coffee shop I've been to in the States. Maybe it's Aroma Kava. So good. It's so nice to not have sad drip coffee. I didn't ask if they have rakia.

Also, the tea we were given was bottled Gold Peak tea. I was able to get a regular glass of water also although I know they have bottled water as I asked, and I think they have hot tea.“

“Used Eagles Landing to cater our daughter’s wedding and it was simply amazing. Judy is so easy to work, great communication and very accommodating. They offered more food for much less than any other caterer! The staff that worked the event were kind, helpful and personable. Heard so many compliments about the food and staff. Would definitely hire them again! Thank you Judy and the entire staff!“

“I had jury duty recently and got there early enough to eat breakfast at the café. The pancakes & bacon was delicious and made fresh at the time of the order.
It is great to have a café on site for jurors & I highly recommend eating at the courthouse Cafe.“

“I just stumbled upon these guys the other night as I was searching for food delivery on Google. I was a little skeptical to try them because I had never heard of them before but to make a long story short, I'm glad I did. I will definitely be ordering from Food Shuttle again in the future because they have Ted's Montana Grill on their menu and that's one of my favorite restaurants. I am giving them 4 stars just because I think they could use more restaurants on their site but overall, I would say they are a very solid service and I would recommend them.“

It was good after searching for the shrimp…I asked our waitress what I ordered and the cook messed up my order. The owner made sure it was corrected. My boyfriend got the oxtail nachos appetizer and catfish with garlic mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese! He loves catfish and he loved it here! A hidden gem and we will be returning! No pics but the fried rice was HUGE!“
