I found out about this establishment from tiktok and let me tell you what, I'm not disappointed. Since moving back home from being stuck in Oregon all i wanted was a simple burrito for breakfast. In Phoenix during my college days you could find delicious burritos. Well I'm not close to little latin America like pleasant hill or buford highway. Ray's Donuts is a hidden gem with a friendly and welcoming owner. The donuts are fresh and delicious, made with love and care, including unglazed sour cream donuts, cake donuts, and maple donuts that are hard to find elsewhere. The breakfast sandwiches, like the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, are cooked to order, and the donut selection is varied and appealingly displayed. The shop is clean and well kept, with tables for eating in, and the owner's enthusiasm is infectious. Always a line for fresh donuts, but the service is great and the food is absolutely delicious. Although the hours can be unpredictable, it's worth visiting Ray's for a superior donut experience that beats bigger chains like Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme.
