“The Little (Velvet) Hippo didn't disappoint! I really enjoy Poor Hendrix (their sister restaurant in East Lake) so i had to stop by. It's a casually elevated sandwich shop and cocktail bar with counter service only. The staff is kind, the food is delicious and the drinks were great. i enjoyed the mezcal and tequila cocktail "the love of the larry" and would come back again and again for their chicken caesar sandwich. “This is my favorite place to go for live music on a Sat night. The performers are fabulous and the vibe of the place is cool. The food is good as well as a nice selection of wines and coffee drinks. The owner, Sophie, makes you feel welcome. Ground and Pound is more than a coffee house it’s a cool lil club. LOVE IT!!“

“I've never been to a restaurant x3 in one week... but this restaurant was worth it. Service is wonderful, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great! The last time we were there, we were shown to a seat close to the bar, and the owner spotted our hesitancy and immediately whisked us to a table by the window. That kind of attention/attentiveness you expect in Buckhead, not Stone Mountain. Our server Michael was wonderful as well, very knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend!“

“Stopped here based on high Yelp reviews - apparently just opened about 5 months ago. Unassuming place, thought we were in the wrong place as it's set back on the corner in front of a strip shopping center with a food depot and family dollar. Once inside, greeted w/great atmosphere and amazing service. The pizza was on point! Wood-fired, great dough, nice toppings. Had the margherita pizza which was very cheesy and delicious! No picture as we ate it and finished it before I took a pic. The house cocktails were so well composed flavor-wise and beautifully presented. Kay-Kay was fabulous - server, bartender and all around hostess! Would definitely recommend. If I lived here, I would be back frequently! The website is also very well done. “Went for a Birthday celebration on a Friday night. Music and ambiance alone were enough to go back. Customer service was top-notch, thank you so much Angel! Prices match the product. Will definitely be returning.It is a relatively small place. Seating is limited. Would not come with a group larger than 6 people for adequate seating.Parking: Substantial amount of parking, but it can be inconvenient on a rainy day due to the walk distance.“

“I had my birthday party at dreams, and let me just say from the very beginning they were very professional took very good care of me, and my guest. Got us inside in a very timely matter. The waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere was so dope now let’s get to this food, so I have the Rasta pasta and when I tell you, it was amazing 10 out of 10 highly recommended my friends had the lamb chops and some head, fries and wings. Everyone was talking about the food all night long. We had so many to go boxes on the table. Everyone ate after they seen other people food come out and tried other people food. If you’re looking for some good food in Gwinnett county go to Dreamz you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be back. I almost forgot they also have hookah bottle service and a fire drink menu. Just good vibes. Definitely go check them out. “Very nice quiet spot to get a quick lunch bite. While I'm waiting for my seat covers to be installed came to grab a bite. Lunch stew chicken rice n beans plantain and a salad . This was good for lunch also comes a drink . It's also a really good price 13 bucks for the lunch and you're full.“

“Visited for the first time this weekend - very cool place, the bathroom is hidden behind bookcase! The drinks were great and we loved trying the O4D flight! Our group of 4 got two flights and 4 cocktails to split - about 25-30$/head. Only minus 1 star because it opened a little over an hour late. A small line of people were standing outside around noon, we joined a couple of minutes after, and around 12:15 we all gave up and walked to Biggerstaff down the street. We came back around 1:30 or a couple before and they were just opening up then. Worth the wait but could be tough if it’s common and you’re trying to go right at opening.“

“Uncle Jack's meat house was a very interesting place. I had beef stroganoff and it was blended with shredded brisket. Never had that away, but it was pretty good and I ended up going back later date for their meatloaf which I was told is different than others. it was definitely different than others not traditional, but it was specialized in. The flavor was good. Went over mashed potatoes nice salad, it was really good and I really liked it a lot. Hope you enjoyed as well giving them five stars.“

“The real "Don't judge a book by it's cover ". My friend and I had a room nearby and wanted to have drinks so we looked up a few spots but their's showed Happy Hour specials. When we pulled up I was hesitant because there wasn't any cars there. But after a few minutes we went in it was kinda quiet. We order 2 single drinks to start. The bartender was even kinda soft spoken for a minute. We later ordered wings and burgers which was unexpectedly delicious. We ordered a few pitchers and a few other people came in ALL seemed like family and friends. After a while this place was a total vibe. Judge free zone and that lady made tf out them blue mf too. When in the area definitely would return!!“
