“Outstanding Dominican food. We went on Saturday night. Service was super and I’m sure being fluent in “Dominican Spanish” and cuisine helped. It brought memories to us of living in the DR for many years. My only negatives would be the loud music and it was so cold you could hang meat there. I do not deduct points for that though because we showed up close to all the dancing so I’m sure the frigid temperatures were setting up the place for the dancing.

We will head there again for sure, earlier. I just wish the Presidente beer would be imported from the DR, not St Louis. Still it was cold and very much like the DR version.

If you want to try Dominican Food as close to island authentic, head there. If you are up to a lively atmosphere, stay for the dancing.“

We ordered the truffle fries, wings, jerk lamb chops, soul rolls, and oxtail tacos—and every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. “I went two days in a row one of my Homegirl bday and then Cousin Bday same place and both times lit 🔥 and the service and food was great both times ( my Favorites was the Butter chicken and Lamb Chops) but we did get a variety of food on the menu and everything on the menu was very delicious) !!! Music on point, clean, nice energy and the waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. “Ok let's start with the Customer Service! It was excellent even on an extremely crowded night. The owner (Anthony) made sure everything ran organically. My order was taken quickly and when the food came out it was hot and exactly what requested.Now for the food! I had the Salmon and Mash dinner. When I say the salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Additionally, the portion was HUGE!!!! My date had the Steak and Mash dinner! Again, the steak was cook to perfection and seasoned perfectly. And once again the portions are large.Lastly, the drinks!!!! Were amazing and the bartender was too!!!! I strongly recommend you ask for Rose as she is knowledgeable, professional, and beautiful (not that that really matters) but I say all that to say this... Circa1890 is a full package. Great food, even better customer service, and a bartender that is easy on the eyes.“
