We ordered the truffle fries, wings, jerk lamb chops, soul rolls, and oxtail tacos—and every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The jerk lamb chops were especially unforgettable, and those oxtail tacos? Game changer. “Ok let's start with the Customer Service! It was excellent even on an extremely crowded night. The owner (Anthony) made sure everything ran organically. My order was taken quickly and when the food came out it was hot and exactly what requested.Now for the food! I had the Salmon and Mash dinner. When I say the salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Additionally, the portion was HUGE!!!! My date had the Steak and Mash dinner! Again, the steak was cook to perfection and seasoned perfectly. And once again the portions are large.Lastly, the drinks!!!! Were amazing and the bartender was too!!!! I strongly recommend you ask for Rose as she is knowledgeable, professional, and beautiful (not that that really matters) but I say all that to say this... Circa1890 is a full package. Great food, even better customer service, and a bartender that is easy on the eyes.“

“I visited Dominique’s on Friday 7/12/24. Was very impressed. I am a senior, and a vet..My order was served timely, hot and delicious. The waiter was dressed very professional. After such a wonderful evening of dining I referred Dominique to others. One sent me a copy of negative reviews. I am shocked because my guest and I had a wonderful time. The surrounding guests. appeared to be enjoying themselves also. No negative energy anywhere. There was even a valet in the parking lot. I am so sorry for the misfortune of others. “I love this place. The price is so reasonable, and it offers such a unique experience. You really won't find much else like it. You can sing literally anything you want! It takes away a lot of the nervousness of singing in front of other people with you just having to sing in front of your friends. Pricing is great! If you're going on a Friday or Saturday, definitely make a reservation. They fill up fast!“

“So I came on a Saturday night, The music was great, The DJ had an awesome playlist!! However the crowd was so stiff. It was weird. My only regret is that I came alone, last minute decision on my end. I smoked hookah, the performance from PeeWee Longway was dope. The servers were all pretty and super sweet. The bathroom was clean enough for me to snap a quick picture.“

“The bar needs more ventilation for the ones who smoke or the smokers need to go outside. The bar is a good atmosphere. I enjoyed myself last night it was just too much smoke.“

“Outstanding Dominican food. We went on Saturday night. Service was super and I’m sure being fluent in “Dominican Spanish” and cuisine helped. It brought memories to us of living in the DR for many years. My only negatives would be the loud music and it was so cold you could hang meat there. I do not deduct points for that though because we showed up close to all the dancing so I’m sure the frigid temperatures were setting up the place for the dancing.

We will head there again for sure, earlier. I just wish the Presidente beer would be imported from the DR, not St Louis. Still it was cold and very much like the DR version.

If you want to try Dominican Food as close to island authentic, head there. If you are up to a lively atmosphere, stay for the dancing.“

“This lounge has GAMES! Not just on the tv games, but actual playing games!!! The set up was cute. The service was good. My food was good, but it could have been better; it’s like it was cooked properly, but it had a burnt taste to it. I’d most definitely like to visit again!“
