“We tried Shorty's yesterday. It was a great experience we met John his lovey wife and his father. The are really sweet, friendly folks. Their food potatoe salad, bbq, Mac and cheese, slaw, peach cobbler and them drinks peach tea, strawberry lemonade was some of the best ever. We will definitely go back”

“I am going to give this place an overall positive rating even though I do have some negative things to say. My family and I went there on a Sunday after church, the day that kids eat free. Naturally, it was pretty busy. There were a lot of younger people working the line and they Al had bad attitudes and pissed off looks on their faces. The manager (idk her name) was busting her tail to make sure that everything was running smoothly and everyone was served quickly. She even had to bring her children and let them sit at a table while she worked. She was so determined to work that she even brought her kids. There are so many people that don’t want to work right now so this woman is amazing and I commend her for it! I will definitely be back there!”

“The people are very sweet, really take the time to make the orders correctly, and keep things organized in the way of the heavy traffic flow. That lunch time rush is a monster, but I can’t say that I’ve ever had to wait. In and out every time I’ve been and that’s pretty frequently.”

“I wasn’t looking for one of those elaborate fancy fondant cakes they have zero flavor, to me they’re just for looks in my opinion. If you want a true flavorful cakes hers are the best! I had requested a chocolate zucchini cake from several bakers and was turned down. (yes I know sounds weird trust me it’s delicious and a classic) I contacted Tammy and she did not pass judgement with my odd request. Great communication. It came out amazingly delicious! I can’t thank Tammy enough.”

“I ordered doordash dropped off with my seal broken pizza was cold. I was very unsatisfied! My children doordash, I don’t! With this being said, I called spoke with management that was on duty. My order was delivered by Marco’s driver- pizza was fresh/ hot and delivered in a timely manner/ fashion… Much appreciated”

While we ate, we watched the drive through and someone who ordered only shortly after we did finally got their food just as we finished our meal... Definitely stick to going inside and don't try the drive thru.

The service is fast, the team is friendly, and I love that they offer a first responder discount. Super convenient and always a great experience. You won’t be disappointed.”

“First of all, I am a Burger King fiend. I don't eat fast food really, except for BK, and l've eaten at literally 100 plus locations, probably more, all over the entire country. I buy so much Burger king, I actually have a corporate Representatives phone number, and typically they read my reviews and reach out to me when I'm at a less than impressive location, so trust that this review is real.
I typically don't give five stars for fast food, but the way that this place has been bashed, it's justified. First I went in, and the very nice lady acknowledge me and asked me if I had been helped, which I helped myself because I made a mobile order. She then offered me a cup of sweet tea! But politely declined, because that's not really my gig.
The other nice kid in the back, also offered me some other food other than what I ordered but I politely decline that too, because I don't eat much fast food.
I ordered my signature Whopper, heavy all including jalapenos. Probably 7 out of 10 BKs Give me what I actually order. THIS BK Whopper, WAS.ON.POINT. probably in the top five Whoppers of all time that I've had all over the US.
This location was particularly very very clean. You can even see scrub marks, where they scrub down the stainless steel in the back. The drink station was nice and tidy, and the dining room was clean as well
Very very very good experience here, and I ended up in Locust Grove by chance last night, but this is definitely one of the better BK's I've been to in America.

It might sound a bit over the top, but it's true. You can't please everyone, but they please me!”
