“Love this local, off the beatin' path diner! It has become a weeknight favorite for me and my husband. I usually get the grilled salmon and he gets the fried grouper. Servings are enormous and the food is excellent. And, if you do choose to go on a weekend night, you may have to wait if you do not call ahead with a reservation. It has become extremely popular. Jules and Shannon are excellent with their service, delightful conversation, and smiling faces. Great place!“

“Gumlog Brewery has been such a fun addition to downtown Lavonia. Even though we don’t drink, I love their wine slushes and their pretzels with cheese dip — so good! They’ve brought such a great energy to downtown with evening events and a fun atmosphere for the community. It’s been really nice to see our town have more places to gather and enjoy time together.“

We didn’t even plan on eating dinner at 211, but once we walked in, we decided to stay — and wow, are we glad we did. From start to finish, everything was incredible. The service was top-notch, warm, and attentive without being overbearing. Our waitress was amazing, genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special. The owner was there personally greeting and talking with guests, which says so much about the pride and care that goes into this place. “I was born and raised in Toccoa and have eaten at Bell's all my life. I'm really sad that they no longer open on Saturdays because I now live in Marietta and Saturday was the only day I could drive up there and enjoy their food. I have never gotten a bad meal at Bell's in over 50 years. It is fabulous. Nothing in the Marietta/Atlanta area is this good.“

“Chili dogs was great slaw dogs was great chili cheese tater tots really good whish I would got to try the burger but the lady said they were sold out but food for dollar it was good maybe next time I can try more it was close to there closing time so all we was able to get was hotdogs and chicken although I would have had 4 chili dogs but they were running low“

Everything was COLD! grits w/lumps cold, bacon cold, cheese eggs cold, the toast was old/cold! I spoke with the waitress and left NO TIP! WORST W/H EVER!!!“

“We enjoy this restaurant although it's not always consistent. The last night we visited, we had a waitress that had a great attitude but very little knowledge about the menu. However, attitudes make up for a lot. However, It's disappointing that this JP is so different than the one in Anderson, South Carolina. Over the two. I prefer the one in Anderson. (And I do wish they would clean the glass doors as you walk in). I know it seems picky but walking in a door that is dirty sets the feel for the rest of the restaurant. I will return, as the food was good.“

“I ordered a steak biscuit and hash browns and they gave me a chicken biscuit with French fries. I have a food sensitivity and do not eat chicken. I realized they gave me the wrong order when I opened up the bag and was about 30 miles down the road. I tossed it all in the trash can at a gas station.
I spend 8 bucks for no breakfast.“
