I ordered 2 lemon drops to drink, and the bartender made them to my specifications with lemonade and simple syrup to make sure they were extra sweet. I ordered desserts to go, but they have not been sampled yet. Definitely recommend reservations.“

“My family and I experienced a wonderful dinner at Carabas on Washington Road in Augusta, GA this week. Not only was the food fantastic but so was our waiter, Kahleel. We can not say enough about how polite, attentitive and professional he was. He gave us the inpression that he enjoyed serving us. There are very, very few restaurant's in the area that have employees who have given us the service in which Kahleel did. My family and I would like his management to commend him on a job well done! The gentleman who took my order and everybody else that came in that dine in not only he brought everybody food to the table but also after we had finished our meal, he kindly took our tray and disposed of the trash. “As I travel for work, I stay in the area frequently. This was my 3rd try to visit, as they have recently reduced their days open. Solo diner on an early Friday evening. I was seated at a patio hightop table immediately. The view of the river and sunset are spectacular! A fairly limited menu of mostly small plates. I had a glass of rosé and the Oysters Rockabilly. The oysters were small, but delicious. My server, Lauren was sweet and attentive. I would give all 5s if the oysters were more plump.“

After a recent visit I can say a lot has changed. The fried shrimp was the surprise standout dish we ordered. I'll probably try fried wings on my next trip. Orange chicken and Sesame chicken had good flavor but the chicken used was tough. Pork fried rice that came with each had no veggies besides onions and pork was tough, so average at best. Egg rolls were bland. They now accept credit but charge a fee for orders over $20.

The food is quite good, worth a try. Cash or check only - no credit cards accepted. The inside of the restaurant isn't in the best shape and the service is very similar to what I got when I was actually in China (which is to say not fantastic), but that makes this place all the more authentic to me. I suggest going once and getting it to go to compare to what you get elsewhere. China is another good Chinese option in the area.“

“I haven't been to this place in a long time. The Russian hit wings are the best spicy wings WITH flavor anywhere I've found in the CSRA. The food is decently proportioned and my kids love the lemon pepper wings as well. I highly recommend the garlic parm fries! 5 wings and fries and drink was $11.99.“
