Smokin Pig is a restaurant located off Highway 84, next to a gas station. Despite its unassuming "hole-in-the-wall" appearance, the restaurant serves delicious smoked meats with true Southern Hospitality. The tender meats are available in various forms, including brisket, pulled pork, and chicken quarter, all grade A quality and carefully prepared by hand. The fall-off-the-bone ribs and juicy spare ribs are boldly flavorful, awakening the senses even without sauce. Sides include a range of options, such as Cole slaw, turnip greens, Brunswick stew, and potato salad. The restaurant has a welcoming, family-like atmosphere, with wheelchair accessibility and kid-friendly amenities like high chairs and a clean environment. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a fantastic dining experience. While some reviewers found the sauces too sweet, the majority enjoyed their meals and would return, marking it as a must-visit for any barbecue lover seeking an authentic Southern feast.
