“I recently visited Block Buster Bar and Restaurant, and I have to say, my experience was quite surprising in a good way. When I first walked in, the place was empty, which made me a bit hesitant about ordering food. However, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did.

I started with the chicken bandi style pakodi as an appetizer, which was flavorful and had a great texture. For the main course, I tried the Andhra chicken curry with tandoori roti. The curry was rich and spicy, just like you'd find in India, and the roti was perfectly cooked. To finish off my meal, I had the bread halwa for dessert, which was a delightful and sweet end to an already satisfying meal.

Overall, all the dishes I tried were delicious and brought back memories of India. I'm really glad I decided to visit Block Buster Bar and Restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise, and I left feeling very satisfied.“

“The food was amazing. Our waiter, taylor, was also very insightful. The mussels were delicious. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The death by chocolate cake was so good and huge, we couldn't finish it . We had to take it to go.“

“The quality of the food is top notch. The facility has a cool vibe to it with the high ceilings, open kitchen, and large bar. Iirc, the wine racks are a throwback to the original FSE. Our waitress Nei (sp?) really knew the menu and made great recommendations on pairings of food. The seating area is rather open and can be noisy. The portions are appropriate for your meal, and there were no leftovers at our table. Prices are on par with other restaurants of this caliber. Plenty of free parking right behind the restaurant. “The band After School Special was a really fun and very talented 90’s cover band. We were very impressed. The food was also excellent and we had brick oven pizza and bbq with yummy sides. Also loved the Bloody Mary! A great time and full bellies - what more can you ask for? Oh and just an aside what a lovely bathroom!“

Our team of 20 visited for a midweek team building night out, and the moment we arrived, we were swept into the spirit of the Prohibition era. From the check-in process to the secret entrance (you’ll want to know where to look and what to say), this venue delivers on ambiance and theme.

Descending the stairs felt like stepping into another time. Rich wood tones, sultry lighting and a live band that brought the room to life. For a Tuesday night? The energy was electric and the space was packed! We enjoyed boutique bowling in a lively, luxe atmosphere and our server, Rider, kept our large party taken care of with warmth, attentiveness and charm.

Where the venue lost a star? The menu. While we literally ordered one of everything to share across our group, the food was more functional than flavorful. Limited options and a bit underwhelming in execution.

“We love Oak Street bottle shop. Sue and I wanted to have a 60th birthday party, so when thinking about what to do, Oak Street’s vibe works for me. Scott was amazing to work with - so accommodating. He knows how much I love IPAs and saved a keg for us - it was awesome. We had about 90 friends and family there - the staff Alex and Jeff were amazing. Incredible in set up, serving everyone so friendly (our guests were so impressed with them), and their attention to detail is off the charts. The bottle shop inside is bigger than it looks - can easily hold 90 if weather gets bad. We had significant chance for rain, Scott and team provided tents, we went to help set up, and Alex and Jeff made the place shine. We hired 40Hz band, Scott recommended. They were simply amazing. “It is a family-owned establishment that has been in operation for years. It must have the best bar food in Cobb County. I have been going there for 20 years and I have never heard anyone complain about the food, service, or price.“

“Naturally I’m a hockey fan being from Pittsburgh. We arrived at Verizon Amphitheatre only to find the doors didn’t open for an hour so we decided to find the closest bar. Obviously Finley’s was where we ended up not knowing it was inside the cooler! “For the most part I love this park! My only complaint is they seem to close for any reason they can as well as the fact that they do not allow personal drinks in the park but they are often out of the only few drinks I can drink being diabetic. Other than that, I love this place.“

“Village Tavern is the best restaurant for the money. Everything is very good. We have been to fancy steak houses that cost 3 -4 times as much but we now just pick Village Tavern. The service is fantastic and the food is always great. We drive 45 minutes just to go to the Village Tavern and it is worth it every time. Brunch is awesome and the Prime rib is fantastic.“

“I’m SO glad I found Flatlands. I’ve been in town for a couple days and disappointed with the food experiences thus far. Flatlands negated all of that and put Alpharetta back on the map for me. Everything I had was delectable. I had the catfish nuggets, a garden salad (w/ the the jalapeño ranch), a cocktail and beignets. 10/10. Highly recommend!

“This is a hidden gem in Johns Creek! I visited on a random Tuesday night. I’m a bit of a foodie and can be a bit picky - that said, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. I had the salmon and chose to get it blackened. Despite my requesting it well done, the salmon was still so moist and the lemon vinaigrette drizzle accompanied the dish so well! I also had a spicy margarita and their crème brûlée for dessert. My total experience was amazing! Will definitely be back!“

“In March 2023, Chaplins officially became a non smoking karaoke bar. Chaplins now has it's second set of owners as of last year and they are doing a fantastic job updating the longest-running karaoke bar in the state of Georgia. You can now enjoy karaoke 6 nights a week, listen to your favorite local bands playing on the spacious, covered patio deck out back. Don't go where the tourists go. Come where the locals go.“

“This is a hidden gem. Please don't let the Bar and Grill in the name fool you. This isn't your typical bar and grill .The service was great. The food is excellent at this place. The meal started with fried lobster tails and fried calamari that was fried perfectly. For dinner, the Red Snapper was delicious. The Star of the Meal was the Seafood Risotto. This was the best Seafood Risotto I've ever eaten, and it was at a bar and grill. This is definitely a must try. Thanks to the staff and the management team for making my visit to the Coastal Bar and Grill a great experience. My apologies for not taking pictures.“

“This manager and staff of this location go above and beyond! I had an issue with ordering through the Chili’s app and getting it delivered. The Chili’s manager personally called DoorDash for me and got DoorDash to issue a refund and a redelivery of new food. He was very pleasant and understanding to me and apologized for the inconvenience. This issue was not Chili’s fault whatsoever but they handled it extremely professional and pleasant. “We have stayed here several times, including 2 months while between houses right now. It has been great for my 3 year old and me. The restaurant staff (Marin, Xiaowei, and Netsanet- sorry for spelling!) are wonderful, the front desk staff are always helpful and welcoming. My little one knows all their names, and they know hers too! She’s always greeted warmly and with love! We love the indoor pool and hot tub for the kids especially! It’s been a great, SAFE place for us and we’re sad to leave soon!“

“I love everything about this place; the staff, food, and atmosphere. Nice patio and the open-air seating area is shaded by an amazing pecan tree. It's HUGE! Open mic nights out back on Thursdays is a personal favorite. The staff is great. It's totally worth becoming a regular for their friendly treatment. Awesome pizza of course but delicious salads too if you are looking for something on the healthier side. Last but not least, the bar with the long wall of tasty beers on tap... Yum!

“I stopped in with some friends for drinks, chips, and salsa at one of the high tops by the bar while our daughters were at a first aid class and we had such a good time! The bartender, Carlos, was handling the bar, high tops, and answering the phone for to-go orders and had such an awesome attitude despite his numerous responsibilities. My Paloma was perfection (especially with the tajín on the rim!) and the atmosphere was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!“
