“I recently visited Block Buster Bar and Restaurant, and I have to say, my experience was quite surprising in a good way. When I first walked in, the place was empty, which made me a bit hesitant about ordering food. However, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did.

I started with the chicken bandi style pakodi as an appetizer, which was flavorful and had a great texture. For the main course, I tried the Andhra chicken curry with tandoori roti. The curry was rich and spicy, just like you'd find in India, and the roti was perfectly cooked. To finish off my meal, I had the bread halwa for dessert, which was a delightful and sweet end to an already satisfying meal.

Overall, all the dishes I tried were delicious and brought back memories of India. I'm really glad I decided to visit Block Buster Bar and Restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise, and I left feeling very satisfied.“

“The quality of the food is top notch. The facility has a cool vibe to it with the high ceilings, open kitchen, and large bar. Iirc, the wine racks are a throwback to the original FSE. Our waitress Nei (sp?) really knew the menu and made great recommendations on pairings of food. The seating area is rather open and can be noisy. The portions are appropriate for your meal, and there were no leftovers at our table. Prices are on par with other restaurants of this caliber. Plenty of free parking right behind the restaurant. “It is a family-owned establishment that has been in operation for years. It must have the best bar food in Cobb County. I have been going there for 20 years and I have never heard anyone complain about the food, service, or price.“

Obviously Finley’s was where we ended up not knowing it was inside the cooler! “Came for lunch, they were very slow during lunch on the day we came. But we sat outside in the beautiful sunshine and had a delicious lunch. Smashed burger and fries was delicious also had the beer battered chicken strips, also great! At night they have more bar activity’s/karaoke going on, but during lunch very low key relaxed family friendly atmosphere. Service, food, and atmosphere great!“

“One of the few local restaurants that has a real diverse menu.
Lunch or dinner is a good choice. Salads, soups, appetizers, desserts and plated meals are well prepared and have that home cooked feel. Never been there without a reservation.. I’ve always observed they are busy air the time. The wait staff is fair at best and for me the lighting could be better!“

“This is a hidden gem in Johns Creek! I visited on a random Tuesday night. I’m a bit of a foodie and can be a bit picky - that said, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. I had the salmon and chose to get it blackened. Despite my requesting it well done, the salmon was still so moist and the lemon vinaigrette drizzle accompanied the dish so well! I also had a spicy margarita and their crème brûlée for dessert. My total experience was amazing! Will definitely be back!“

“We recently visited this location and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the service was not great, our order was missed by the chef, and we ended up waiting about 45 minutes for the pizza.
That said, the food was really good and made up for some of the frustration. We tried the wings and cheese bread, and both were excellent. The cheese bread was especially soft, cheesy, and delicious. We ordered a custom green pesto chicken pizza, which was also very tasty with soft cheese and great flavor.
Other than the service issue, everything else was top-notch. We’d be open to trying food again, but will likely visit one of their other locations next time.“

The bartender, Carlos, was handling the bar, high tops, and answering the phone for to-go orders and had such an awesome attitude despite his numerous responsibilities. My Paloma was perfection (especially with the tajín on the rim!) and the atmosphere was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!“

I briefly stayed in Atlanta for a few days, and decided to drive up to Roswell for a bit. Stopped by here and was greeted by Emily Ann at the bar.

It's a Hooters - nothing out of the ordinary or weird. Very talkative bar patrons though - that was a pleasant surprise. Most I have encountered keep to themselves.

Emily Ann and Hannah were on shift at the time I went, and while the place was somewhat quiet, they did a fine job.

If you've been to other breasturants, than this is more of what you have come to expect.“

Room service was quick and the food came out hot, and the bed was super comfortable. The barista downstairs also did a great job on my caramel iced coffee. There were a couple of small things that could be improved: the TV had a few noticeable spots on the screen, and the shower door is only a half-door, which means you have to actually step into the tub to turn the water on. I would definitely come back. The vibe, comfort, and service all made the stay worth it.“

“Cool spot with a great vibe. We came with a large group of families from our kids’ daycare and sat outside. They have a big backyard area where kids can run around and play, which was perfect for a group like ours. The outdoor seating is covered, too.
