“Awesome, delicious, friendly service, and nearby! The best Shrimp Boil we have had in many years. The shrimp was good size, tender (not overcooked), sausage, potatoes and corn were perfect with the best seasoning ever. The juice was outstanding. The boiled egg was a surprise, must be a regional dish for Mal, but oh so good! Us southerns usually have our eggs deviled, but I have a new favorite! We support our new business in Monroe. The price is worth it when you are served food this good! Check it out!”

“I attended a group of around 20 people at LaGabrielle. Our server, Tori, was prompt, friendly and very thorough. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly our food came. every order was correct and the food was delicious. I will definitely eat here again!”

“Decided last minute to eat here when driving through town so as I was pulling in the parking lot, I submitted my order on the app. I pulled around to the window and was greeted by a very friendly girl. My food came out within minutes, piping hot, and fresh. While I waited she went ahead and fixed my drink for me. I didn’t have to ask for napkins. They were already in the bag…Unlike some restaurants. I always have a pleasant experience when I visit this restaurant.”

“I HIGHLY recommend the Coffee Camper Co. for your next event! It was a HUGE HIT at my daughter’s wedding in Milledgeville this month! Both the bride & groom are big coffee lovers and all the guests enjoyed the several yummy options! Loved the personalized wedding menu and signage! Joselin was great to work with, she was nice, very responsive, & answered all my questions. The two baristas arrived & were ready to serve on time and were super sweet and fun! It was the perfect special treat at the wedding!”

“We definitely recommend Posh Cakery! Caitlin was communicative and easy to work with for our wedding. The tasting was fun and I loved how much you could personalize each mini cupcake. They were delicious and our guests LOVED them! One thing that stuck out to us as well is how Caitlin was able to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions - our gluten free friends were so happy!”

“The building is inside of the grocery store. I would have never known it existed if it wasn't on Google maps.

The store is small and has a funky smell. it smelled like rotting meat. (Appeared to be an issue with market actively being repaired). The restaurant itself was situated behind the cash registers.

When walking up, the menu is clearly on the right on the wall beside the register. It is not a comfortable place or somewhere to really sit down and enjoy a meal with a family.

We ordered the blacked chicken salad and the mushroom burger. Self serve condiments and drinks.

The food was made fresh, it was delicious.
The food needs to be in a 5 star restaurant somewhere else. This was the best food I've found in Monroe after trying every top rated place in town.

The ordering process involves waiting in line, paying, then taking the number. It's brought to your table with almost 0 interaction with staff.

Put these chefs with a good restaurant with nice sit down tables and a friendly hostess and waiters. It will easily be the #1 place in Monroe

The flavors of the food are spot on. The fries perfectly crispy. The burger cooked perfect and moist. The blacked chicken salad was full of flavor not overcooked, freshlyade, with crispy bacon. I had the balsamic dressing and need to know which brand they use (or the recipe to make it).

We will be returning to try the reuben sandwich and the pulled pork nachos in the near future.”

“Food is fresh and made to order the waitress at the register is very sweet and courteous and very kind that goes out of her way to take care of you I wish I had got her name but she hadn't been there long in like 3 weeks she's a smaller lady with dark hair and she's pretty decent on the eyes so make sure you're sweet to her and she will do the same!”

“That steak casserole is to die for! And it is huge! 4 meals for me. The steak is grilled and tender every time I've ordered it. And I love the fried plantain mixed into the casserole. My favorite Mexican restaurant now! #craving”

“Good, knowledgeable & helpful staff who were able to assist me with my order (even when I was a bit confused an so probably confusing in my placing of my order). Pleasure to deal with the workers at thelis location (an on a side note, loved the memories brought back from the music they were listening to in the background).

“I was in town for work and the locals said go to LR for lunch. Why not? I don’t know any good places and I was so glad I did. The lady at the register (found out later she was the locals aunt) was by far the SWEETEST EVER taking my order. The fried pickles were amazing and definitely enough for more than 1. I loved my burger as well. Best part, is the restaurant is an old gas station. If you’re in Monroe stop by. You won’t regret it.”

“The three girls in there around 130 today were busting there butts to make everyone’s orders on time and all with a smile on their face and a great positive attitude! My daughter dropped her smoothie after taking just a couple of sips and when I offered to clean up and pay for a new one they would not let me and made her a new one! They were honestly so great and I appreciated it so much!!”

“Long Horns is a chain steak house that I visit from time to time. Although it seemed very busy with multiple groups of 12 or larger, there were several tables empty. This seemed like a staffing issue but that would only be a guess. I ordered the grilled Shrimp with Peppers as a main course even though it was a starter and French onion soup. Both turned out quite good. Our waiter was top notch. Sadly I can't remember his name. With the large crowds it was very noisy. Having a conversation with my associate was difficult at best. So, not the place I would recommend for an intimate dinner.”

At times, the front staff (cashiers) are busy in their phones and less attentive than I’d hope, but all in all, this is a family favorite. “I’m very surprised to read a review on here about the staff being racist. My experience has been completely different. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and professional whenever I’ve visited — even on their busiest days. They’ve consistently treated me with kindness and respect.

As an African American woman, I pay attention to how I’m treated in different establishments, and I can honestly say I’ve never felt disrespected here. My service has always been polite, attentive, and welcoming.

Also, I’ve never had an issue with parking. There has always been plenty of parking available when I go.”
