Both the bride & groom are big coffee lovers and all the guests enjoyed the several yummy options! Loved the personalized wedding menu and signage! Joselin was great to work with, she was nice, very responsive, & answered all my questions. The two baristas arrived & were ready to serve on time and were super sweet and fun! It was the perfect special treat at the wedding!”

“Living in Atlanta, I only knew of Huey Magoo’s through my friends in Athens. They recommended I stop by as I was driving past this location coming back from a weekend visit a year ago. The grilled chicken, the fries, THE HONEY MUSTARD (!)— I was immediately hooked. I also appreciated their workers offering to get me a refill or take away my trays once done. Service like that these days is hard to find in fast casual restaurants.

My sister and I specifically planned to stop by this location on our drive back to Atlanta today. We shared the 8 piece tender meal and they were able to accommodate half grilled half breaded for us. Alicia took our order and was very patient and kind as we worked through our final selections.

As I paid, I had a special request that I inquired about, not sure if it would be possible. She said she’d check with her manager in a few minutes. About 10 minutes later, Alicia walked over to our table with an update, taking my contact info. We got to chatting and ended up discussing iconic southern food recipes. She ended up finding a picture of her grandmother’s grape salad recipe and shared it with me! Again, so rare to find such above and beyond customer service these days.

Thankfully my sister is getting a Huey Magoo’s near her in Herndon, VA soon. PLEASE consider a location near Decatur/ Atlanta, GA!!!”

The fried rice always hits the spot, and while I love basically all their options, my favorite is the chicken teriyaki. Plus you can get it as a combo with a drink for really cheap. With the amount of food you get, I easily have leftovers for the next day. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something affordable, quick, and delicious.”

“An interesting take on hibachi. Most of the sauces have a citrus zest within them, and I suspect they dust some citrus zest on the meat as well. The meals do not come with vegetables so if you want them, you’ll need to order them. Salad dressing thousand island seems to be popular.”

“The building is inside of the grocery store. I would have never known it existed if it wasn't on Google maps.

The store is small and has a funky smell. it smelled like rotting meat. (Appeared to be an issue with market actively being repaired). The restaurant itself was situated behind the cash registers.

When walking up, the menu is clearly on the right on the wall beside the register. It is not a comfortable place or somewhere to really sit down and enjoy a meal with a family.

We ordered the blacked chicken salad and the mushroom burger. Self serve condiments and drinks.

The food was made fresh, it was delicious.
The food needs to be in a 5 star restaurant somewhere else. This was the best food I've found in Monroe after trying every top rated place in town.

The ordering process involves waiting in line, paying, then taking the number. It's brought to your table with almost 0 interaction with staff.

Put these chefs with a good restaurant with nice sit down tables and a friendly hostess and waiters. It will easily be the #1 place in Monroe

The flavors of the food are spot on. The fries perfectly crispy. The burger cooked perfect and moist. The blacked chicken salad was full of flavor not overcooked, freshlyade, with crispy bacon. I had the balsamic dressing and need to know which brand they use (or the recipe to make it).

We will be returning to try the reuben sandwich and the pulled pork nachos in the near future.”

“I've come in a few times with my monthly Deaf chat. It's your basic Starbucks, but the staff has been great with our group and today they gave me my tea in a mug and cake on a plate, which helped reduce my use of plastic and single-user waste”

“Madison was a true pleasure to work with in every way. Blue Rooster is our favorite bakery! We have been returning to this place for over two years now, trying new flavors and delectable treats, and we have never been disappointed. So, when we decided to have our wedding, we knew that there could be no better place than Blue Rooster to meet our needs. We contacted Blue Rooster to schedule a cake tasting for my upcoming wedding. The process was seamless, and we encountered no issues. Madison contacted us via email and requested some information from us. She promptly booked us for the tasting. We met at the Monroe location, which was charming, and Madison arrived on time and fully prepared. She actively listened to our ideas and drew exactly what we described on paper. We were impressed with her exceptional attention to detail. Her expertise, informative responses, and confidence helped alleviate our anxiety and put our minds at ease. On the day of the wedding, Madison arrived on time and well prepared. She completely decorated the cake table as promised and everyone was impressed by her work! The wedding cake that Madison produced was an exact replica of what she had drawn on paper. Not a single detail was missing, and it was so beautiful that it left everyone saying "WOW"! We had ordered large cupcakes for the guests, and they were both beautiful and delicious. The cakes blew us away, and they tasted even better than we expected. You could really taste the freshness! For our spring wedding, we picked six flavors of cupcakes - strawberry, key lime, lemon pound, banana pudding, Oreo, and Italian cream. Our guests enjoyed Old Fashioned Strawberry, Oreo, and Key Lime Pie cupcakes the most. The Lemon Pound and Banana Pudding cupcakes were also popular among them. We had ordered an excess of cupcakes, so our guests went back for seconds and even thirds! By the end of the night, only 20 cupcakes were left - all of them Banana Pudding and Italian Cream. We gave some cupcakes as gifts to our vendors and took some home. It was a happy ending to a wonderful wedding celebration! After the ceremony, we asked some guests which flavors they enjoyed the most. The Old Fashioned Strawberry was the clear winner, followed by Key Lime. My personal favorite was Italian Cream, while the Groom's favorite was Oreo. The vendors said their families devoured the cupcakes they brought home and everyone kept asking, "Where did you order these cupcakes from?" We were proud to announce that we got them from our favorite bakery in Monroe, GA. Every guest got to enjoy their favorite flavor and try something new, and nobody was disappointed. We had an amazing experience working with Blue Rooster and Madison. They helped us bring our cake visions to life and we couldn't be happier. We have always loved them and still do.
