We love this store and cafe. Feels very southern and welcoming. The cafe has great food at a great price. The Cheely hotdog is great! Definitely recommend getting a quick bite to eat here at least once, especially if you want something low key in a non-traditional restaurant setting.
Cheelys I highly recommend if you are in the area. Not a hot dog place around that's like it. Head to the back of the general store and do your taste buds some justice. By far the best hod dog I've ever had. You ain't had a hot dog till you had a Cheely dog. It's family owned and operated. The service was high quality and the people are amazing. Really cool shop in downtown Monroe. I loved walking around and looking at all of the antiques with my grandmother and her explaining to me what things were used for or telling me jokes.
