Restaurants near Newborn

“I recently moved to Newborn, Ga. My husband and I had worked outside for several hours and I wasn’t cooking. I had also been craving BBQ for a few weeks, you know how that goes. So we have such a big choice of restaurants in Newborn it was gonna be Lucy’s again for Wings or Que on 142 across the street from Lucy’s. So I said to myself, well self you have been wanting Bbq so Que’s it is. Well folks all I got to say is Dang Skippy I found me a some good or I should say great BBQ. That was the best pulled pork without sauce I have ever eaten in my life. (Zack in the drive through told me to promise to try the meat before putting sauce on it) The sauce was good on the BBQ but you really didn’t need it. Also the Brisket was amazing, my hubs always eats Brisket over pulled pork. We had the baked potato salad, stew and slaw. I am… (what’s the new word kids use now) SHOOK! Not sure how they came up with that. It’s weird saying it! 🤭 I will say that little blue house on the right on 142 in Newborn is not very noticeable, but I will say their BBQ, BRISKET, slaw, stew, baked potato potato salad and banana pudding is the bomb! So if you are driving down Hwy 142 through Newborn you gotta try Que on 142 BBQ. You will not regret it. Thanks Zack I will be back!”

“Great food. Great service”

“I have a problem trying to decide which is better, the sayings on the big screen, the staff, or the food. They are all fantastic. Really great peach cobbler to boot.😁”

“Best place around good old family restaurant with excellent food and great atmosphere not that noisy warehouse feel, separate bar, private areas and areas for larger group. best place around. Any bad reviews are not telling the truth prices are indeed reasonable for home made food not that chain stuff. folks are wonderful.”

“Pretty dang good burger, now it's a big real meat burger, so unless you got a big mouth like me, probably wouldn't get a double. The slaw dog wasn’t too bad either, a little sloppy, but I like it sloppy 😂 definitely worth the stop, pretty quick in and out”

“Ummm we got boat in fine but seems this place had a restaurant and it's closed now. There is trash cans everywhere you can tell it's kinda like ghost town”

“We stopped by recently on a Saturday before the library for a coffee and a snack. My little ones LOVED the little kitchen/play area. The barista was so sweet and patient with the kids while they made their selections. She even let them sample a little cup of popping bubbles for their bubble tea. My husband and I got to sit and chat over a cup of coffee while the kids entertained themselves with the play kitchen and toys. We will definitely stop by again soon.”

“I wanted to take the time to specifically thank Jayla (I could have her name wrong) and Isaiah for their kindness! We were there late and the store was busy and even though our order required them to be there way past closing, their kindness and customer service never wavered! I’m a small business owners and I would employ 100 people just like them. The manager on duty was also very kind and probably taken off guard by me calling to compliment them rather than complain! Y’all have a wonderful team.”
