On a day when at least half the store was empty, I only had 45 minutes to sit and eat, so I set a timer to keep pace. It was 15 minutes before someone would even talk to me, and 20 minutes before I would get my food.

I tipped the one waitress that was apologetic about my treatment, and took off. It was a meal that was originally dine-in only, as part of a promotion but because they took so long they allowed me to leave with it.

Look how empty it was.

“I want to thank the Johns Creek Egg Harbor Cafe for a great luncheon experience yesterday! Justin and Ramsey helped me set up a reservation for 24 of my friends. All the arrangements went very smoothly. Alley was our AMAZING waitress! She was obviously used to taking care of large groups. Alley was super organized and anticipated our every possible need and did it all with a smile and a caring attitude! The food was great. We would definitely come back again! Thank you! ❤️❤️“

“This is the best Waffle House I’ve ever been too! Really the quality is always the best . Grits are never runny- waffle never overcooked . Just yum . They charge more than the waffle houses closer to me but I’d rather go here for their consistently good service !“

“Good biscuits. I was in recently with my daughter and niece. My daughter and I both got 'The Squawking Goat'. I wish I had taken a picture because there was a distinctive difference in size for each of our biscuits and chicken. The girls hat for me to take pics of our food but I wish I had as it demonstrates a lack of some consistency in the kitchen. They were still good and tasted as expected. My niece enjoyed her breakfast bowl as well. The toffee latte is far too sweet. I ended up having to put some black coffee in it to make it less so.“

“This is a great place for good food. The manager is fantastic and seems to do well with her staff. I've gone for a while now at least twice a month. The food has always been fresh, even when they're busy they are very efficient. Shelia is great as well. Everyone there is great, I just don't know all the names.
Great place, highly recommend and I hope the corporate office reads this and any employee there should bring this to their next review to remind them how a well run store and great people get results.“

“Went in alone and sat at the bar. Waiter was excellent; he was friendly and knowledgeable, offering suggestions when asked. The atmosphere was calm and not rushed even though the restaurant was full and had people waiting. The tables were turning over quickly, but I didn’t feel that I was being rushed out…AND the cinnamon roll that I got to take home for later, was so so good.“

“We tried Egg Harbor Cafe on the recommendation of our hotel concierge and it was fantastic!

Drinks: We tried the Cookies & Cream Harborccino which we found to be one of the best coffee drinks we've ever tried! Even our non-coffee drinkers were left impressed!

Food: We tried a traditional breakfast with an Omelet and the Maple Bourbon Bacon, as well as a skillet combo and both were great! The maple bourbon bacon is a must if you're trying this place for the first time. Is it a little more? Yea, is it totally worth it?? OH YEA

Kid-friendliness: Right inside the door they have a dedicated "Kids Corner" to help entertain your little ones while you wait for a table!“

“I’ve been visiting this location for quite some time and usually have an average experience. The place is relatively clean and the food tastes like any other Ihop, but the last two times I visited, I had the same server, Natalie, and she completely changed my experience. She was very friendly and attentive. Even when my little ones were being indecisive with their orders, she was still very patient and even went through some of the options with them. This is by far the best experience I've had at a restaurant; the food even seemed to taste better than previous times because she brought it out so quickly. Would 100% recommend this location!!“

“My son, grandson and I had Christmas morning breakfast at Waffle House in Alpharetta and it was great. The staff all had smiles and pleasant attitudes and the service was excellent, especially considering how busy they were! I didn't get her name, but our waitress had hair the prettiest shade of purple, and a beautiful spirit. Just goes to show you that happiness is a choice - and the employees at this location all choose to be happy and kind!“

“Seriously the best cupcake I've had in San Antonio. It's not absurdly sweet and the flavor is strong and balanced. The frosting does not leave a film at the roof of the mouth like conventional cupcakes do. So worth it and great for those with dairy and egg allergies because it's vegan!“
