“I got hot pot to share with my family. For four of us, it was about $90. We got the tomato and beef bases- I preferred the beef but both were good. The meat and veggies were good and options were broad. The service was decent.

I ordered the General Taos chicken-it was lunch menu so it came with rice and either spring roll or curry pocket-I tried the curry pocket. The filling was okay but the shell was beautifully crunchy. The chicken was AMAZING! Seasoned well, great crunch- so good. I also ordered hot and sour soup but didn’t even eat it because I was so content. This place is a gem.“

“Lamb skewers were so delicious!! The skewers are served with already cooked. No need to worry for cooking skewers. Also loved the egg fried rice.

“The go to place for our family. My kids love GuoBaoRou that my 6yo can eat the entire plate. The skewers are delicious and I am happy to just eat that. My husband loves the meat there too. Everyone is happy with the place. One thing is they can get very busy, service is not something you are looking for here, but no one is rude, good food is their focus. “If you want good authentic Chinese food this is the place to go! We got the dry hot pot with fish, chicken w/ broccoli tossed in garlic sauce , green beans ,scallion pancakes, and the tofu . Everything was amazing , however we weren’t a fan of the tofu. The customer service was amazing and you can get refills on white rice .“

“Really great Chinese breakfast made fresh to order. I loved the crispy garlic chive pie dripping with bright green chive oil, the lamb viscera soup, and the danbing with egg and cruller inside. Don’t let the viscera put you off of trying the lamb soup as it’s just a comforting, savory broth with soft, not chewy or gristly bits of lamb. And don’t forget to get dessert next door at Family Baking afterward!“

“Technically this location is the first store and the one in midtown is secondary, and I guess the food here should be better than midtown store. But I was wrong.. The quality of the noodles in two stores are the same: hand-pulled, chewy, fresh and delicious, but the soup base here is not so good. Midtown store serve noodles in soy sauce soup, but this one has only light soup. Also the noodles here seem to come with less meat. Given that the price here is cheaper than midtown store, I would still recommend coming, but do not expect too much from the noodle soup.
They also have other dishes that midtown store don't have, especially those stir-fryed food. Lamb here is also in good quality.“
