ive been to this place twice now and both times the service was mediocre. the most recent time i went, our server's name was jasmine and she was not attentive at all. we had to ask multiple times for the dessert menu, she forgot to take our entree order, and was being rude the entire time. she also took forever to come back to our table after setting one thing down. overall, the food is great and the restaurant is nice but the service should be better for a place this fancy and...read full review
Beautiful new place at the Forum
Food was fantastic, on par with other great Persian restaurants in the general area like Rumi’s and Delbar.
Server was very attentive. Wife needed a modification for the sea bass and they accommodated and made sure our night exceeded our expectations.

Came here recently with my boyfriend for a lil date night! Really excellent food and service. Some of the most tender and flavorful lamb I've ever had.

Golestan is a beautiful new restaurant at the Forum with gorgeous decor and ambience that transports guests to a different world. The Persian food is fantastic and authentic, on par with other great Persian restaurants in the area. The kebabs, especially the koobideh and barg, are flavorful and juicy, and the chicken barg is excellent. The cocktails are amazing, unique, and tasteful, and there is a great wine selection. The sea bass can be modified upon request. The complimentary birthday cheesecake is great. The staff is friendly and helpful, with attentive service that accommodates modifications and ensures a night exceeds expectations. However, some visits have had mediocre service, with servers who are not attentive, forget to take orders, are rude, and take forever to return to the table. Overall, the food is great and the restaurant is nice, but the service should be better for a place this fancy and expensive. It is a truly perfect meal and restaurant.
