Today I went to an early lunch with my grandparents. To start off,we were told that we would have to wait 35-45 minutes, so we went to look around the shop. My three friends and I were meandering back towards home and decided to have breakfast at the Country Store. This building was the original one built by Callaway when he created Callaway Gardens. We sat near the window which provided a lovely view of the fall foliage. Being from the south I love grits. The grits I was served had a strange taste. It really ruined my breakfast. In the beginning our server was terrible. She never smiled. She acted like she was put out to be there. At the very end she finally checked on our table and asked if we needed anything. The restaurant and store is very cute and the view is impeccable. Please get the food and service on the same level.
