“Two day stay at The Lodge at Callaway Gardens. My wife and I enjoyed Coastal Seafood night last Friday- had reservation but there was plenty of seating. Dinner was buffet style all-you-can-eat. Food and service was great! A little pricey but considering all you can eat shrimp, crab legs, salad, beef, chicken, pork tenderloins, green beans, slaw, potatoes, dessert bar - not bad. Also had a station for made to order shrimp and grits.Good sweet tea by the way.Next morning — we came for the breakfast bar - all the usual items including a station for made to order omelettes. Again food and service were great!“
“Very charming and rustic. Great view of Callaway. The biscuits and cornbread muffins were great, with the homemade jam. Really enjoyed the fried green tomato sandwich. Burger was a little overcooked. Service was great. Overall, I'll come back.“
“Today I went to an early lunch with my grandparents. To start off,we were told that we would have to wait 35-45 minutes, so we went to look around the shop. The decorations in this restaurant are so cute and fit the vibe of the restaurant really well! After shopping for 20 minutes , we were seated. I am not saying that that is what you should expect when you come here, but that was our experience. Our waitress, Sheryle, brought out some biscuits and cornbread and then took our drink order. Honestly, I think these biscuits deserve more credit than they get. The tea was great and tasted freshly brewed. My grandparents shared the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries, and I got the Chicken Fingers Platter with the Fresh Fruit Cup and Macaroni and Cheese. It took about 10-15 minutes for the food to get out of the kitchen. Personally, this is the best chicken I've had in a while! My grandparents loved their food as well, and said that the BBQ sauce was really tasty!“
“I loved the food. It’s very filling. Loved the biscuits! Could eat 10 of them. The French toast weren’t good to me. They taste more like bread instead of French toast. I also wished the chicken tenders were more crunchier. Overall food was great and fresh. It’s not a long wait time to get your order.“
