Based on the reviews, R & A Tavern is a fun and welcoming place with friendly service that makes customers feel like part of the community. The food is A+ with phenomenal burgers, awesome french fries that are cut fresh at the restaurant, and excellent wings. Specific meals include a Swiss cheese and mushroom burger, a Philly cheesesteak, and wings in barbecue and lemon pepper flavors. The onion rings and fried mushrooms were also a hit. The restaurant offers deals like ladies night on Wednesday with a buy one margarita, get one free special and $0.60 wings. The actual place is very clean with a nice set up, both inside and outside. While a burger was ordered medium but came well done, the overall visit was great with nice people who checked on customers.
