If you love soul food you will love it here. Give the ox tail a try if you can and be prepared to pay a little more for a typical lunch but the price is worth it for the freshness and food quality.
Traveling through the area we were looking for some local home-cooking. We arrived shortly before the lunch crowd so we were afraid they weren't open, but so glad they were! This place did not disappoint! They have 2 options, cafeteria styles (meat + 2/3 veggies) or All You Can Eat Buffet. I had the pineapple chicken, green beans, rice and cornbread.
