“I love this place. I seriously do. I live 50mns away and this is only place I eat Chinese food at. HOWEVER, your almond chicken recipe is the laziest meal I’ve ever witness: dried almond pieces with dry floured chicken pieces and what seems to be a very unhealthy brown sauce.“

“I've been buying food here since 2009, its always been consistently good, but this pass weekend was super fantastic, who ever they got cooking now must be at least 60 or better because I can taste the culture in that food, like my mom food. Best Chinese food I've ever eaten, lemon pepper wings and fries on 100 and vegetable rice, chicken mogolian, had my wife sleeping on her side because she couldn't stop eating, Boy,Boy, Boy best eating ever, Mr Wok 5 star all day and customer service A1.“

“Dinner here is consistently excellent. We've ordered many things and they are all good. The cilantro chicken, in particular, is great. However, I would avoid the lunch combos if you happen to go during lunch time. I have gotten two - general tso's and sesame chicken - and they were both really disappointing. Cold brocolli, tasteless sauce, etc.“

“My new go to spot and it's close to home. The owner is funny. Our first time ordering there was great. I just relocated to GA and needed to find a couple new takeout locations that could become my "Faves" for Chinese food. This is #1 on my list at the moment and will try new items on the menu.“

“The service is amazing great atmosphere was nice, fast service everything was hot and good. The only thing problem was that I asked for honey glazed chicken but I couldn't taste the honey glaze, however the chicken itself was cooked to perfection nice and crisp and tender. I would like to give them perfect score.“

“I was Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I had a vegetarian dish that was recommended to me by the nice lady behind the counter. I came in on a Sunday. It was not busy at all. The food was good and made fresh. I will be coming back again. Please check this place out if you like Chinese food.
Kid-friendliness: Yeah

“If you’re craving top-notch Chinese food in Metro Atlanta, look no further than Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant on Hwy 5 in Douglasville! This place is hands-down the best Chinese spot I’ve found since moving to Atlanta, offering unbeatable flavor and generous portions at very reasonable prices. I ordered the Triple Delight with Mixed Vegetables and swapped in Shrimp Fried Rice—absolutely divine. Even my picky grandkids couldn’t get enough! They enjoyed wings, vegetable fried rice, and shrimp/chicken with mixed vegetables and shrimp fried rice, devouring every bite.
We upgraded our pork egg rolls to shrimp egg rolls, and let me tell you, they are the best I’ve ever had. We loved them so much that we took five more to go! But the real gem here is Wendy—she made the entire experience memorable with her friendly A-1 customer service and spot-on recommendations. Wendy is pictured below along with my Triple Delight with Mixed vegetables after I’d already had a serving. I’ve been searching for a place like this, and now that I’ve found it, I’ll be a regular for sure. Do yourself a favor: head over to Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant, ask for Wendy, and tell her Alma sent you. You won’t regret it!“

And all was perfect and fresh. Xien xien thank you Hunan!“

“A simple cozy Chinese place. Looks like your average wing store you'd find next door to the local supermarkets. I always come here to eat during my lunch break, because I don't bring food with me nor do I like the food at my workplace. This place is very average, a good meal is around $10-20. Since, I come in often the employee up front knows me well which is very lovely. Great service and not much else I can say, the environment is not very fancy, just typical, but a good place to stop and rest and be able to eat at. Would recommend eating here. No photos or videos, sorry!
Vegetarian options: Just ask them about vegan options, they'll tell you. There are a lot of vegan options, as they eat veggies daily a good variety and very delicious as well.
Parking: The store is located in a plaza, so there is a lot of parking.“

“Excellent everything! Wife and I used to use Pearl China (closer) but the taste and quality of food is far superior. We found out 1 day because Pearl was closed and now we will make that 8 minute extra drive every time for sure. Excellent job ya'll ?“

“My husband and I stopped in House of Lu as part of our never ending journey for authentic Asian food. From the moment we opened the big red doors and saw the aesthetic, art, and design we knew we were in for a treat.
The fried pork dumplings, green beans, and double cooked pork was the closest we’ve come to food we’d have every day while living in China. My husband had the beef pho and was so impressed. The cocktails are creative and delicious also. 10/10 fully recommend House of Lu.
The owners were so nice and checked on us and all the other customers and service was fantastic and accommodating.
I have three recommendations:
Serve the food on heated plates - the food got cold pretty quickly.
Serve the dumplings with the hot chili oil (ask for it if they don’t serve it - it was a game changer for an already delicious dumpling)
Make it spicier - some of the dishes were listed as “spicy” but they were definitely sweeter than spicy.
Don’t miss out on this Marietta marvel!“

“I was eating in the restaurant and an elderly lady came in that could barely walk with her cane. On her way out, a staff member helped her walk to her car and get back in it. Was truly awesome to see staff with respect and caring about our elders.“

“ Actually was very surprised. Usually smaller restaurants like this over cook the food or it’s just a mess. But this place was very clean and the food was really delicious and it was very affordable.“

“They had really good food except the cashew chicken I ordered should’ve been called celery chicken. They must’ve ran out of cashews. I had maybe 5 cashews and it was so loaded with celery you could only taste the celery. The rest of the food ordered was delicious though so I’m willing to go 4 stars.“

“This is my favorite chinese place to go. I always order the sauteed garlic broccoli w/ white rice, and it's always so good and hot and burns my mouth off. Anyway, the family that works there is always so kind and friendly to us, and it doesn't take long for the food to come out.“

“I think they need to get the website for online orders
Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian so I wouldn't really know but they do steam alot of vegetables and sautees them as well.
Parking: Not worried about the parking just the fact they don't have online services“

“My third visit to that place before the review. The taste doesn't disappoint. The staff is super friendly and patient. Good job. It's not a busy place. Almost seems like it's closed at times. Maybe because of its proximity to McDonald's“

“Service was TERRIBLE but food was AMAZING. They gave my hubby the wrong order and did not apologize, but the food was definitely worth it. Honestly the best Chinese take out I’ve had. The Mongolian beef was so tender & egg rolls were awesome.“

“Definitely one of my favorite Chinese food places. My personal favorites are the fried chicken wings and general tso chicken. I have had many other items on their menu and they never disappoint. The owner always remembers who you are when you come in (especially if you’re a regular customer like me), and he makes you feel like family. I 10/10 recommend to anyone who is an Asian cuisine lover.“

“After reading the reviews, I felt like this place would be a gamble. What a pleasant surprise! I was hungrier than a hostage and the pepper steak was great. I would use the word "quality" to define it. I tried the fried Wontons since I read about them in one of the other reviews and I ate every one of them. Would I return and eat there again? Absolutely. I plan on it.“

“This used to be a favorite of mine, but since covid, it has dropped in rank on my list of Chinese restaurants. It's take out only now, and this last time was sub-par. The soup and the entrees seemed to be missing a lot of the meat in them. It's usually piled up, not this time. The crab rangoon seemed old, as if it were made hours ago, not fresh. The staff is always friendly and is usually quick to have your food ready.“

“Finally found Egg Foo Yung after my favorite China Station closed down. The gravy was consistently good...there was no layer of grease to meet you. Its been 10yrs and finally happy...Delicious!!!!I became elated when they had cans of Pepsi...Anyone from the North understands how a can of Pepsi compliments Chinese Food.Regarding customer service...hope they listen to the customers..I had a great experience...Honestly I would take subpar customer service and great food with great prices..over great customer service and lousy tasting food at high prices.Hope.they improve ..please listen to your customers.....but for me I will definitely be back!!“

“We decided to give A taste of Asia a try since our usual go to place was closed. This place did NOT disappoint. the food was soo good and the portions for one dinner was enough for 2 people. It reminds me of the Chinese food in malls ( if you know you know). The general tso chicken was a little overcooked/dry for my liking but I feel that it's an easy fix. We will be back for sure!!“

“This place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall, but the food is yummy. My go-to orders? Fried chicken wings (all drums), large wonton soup, and large shrimp lo mein. The owners and their daughter aren't friendly whatsoever, but the good food makes up for it. I've been dining here since 2014.
Parking: Free parking lot.“

“This is my family's go to place for Chinese food! I will drive pass numerous other Asian restaurants just to get a meal from them. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The food is delicious! I've ordered different dishes from them and have never been disappointed. Always generous portions, and the restaurant clean. Highly recommend!“
