“I'm from the East Coast, so I am familiar with what the East Coast has to offer in wines. To put it bluntly, they aren't the best. My expectations going into this winery were low. However, I was proven wrong. These are not going to be heavy bodied complex wines that you would find in California, but these are definitely what I would consider quality wines. My husband and I did two flights. One red and one white dry wines. Not everything was to our specific liking, but everyone's palate is different. That being said, we could tell that these were quality wines, and we were so glad we stopped for a visit. Side note, if they have the wine brownie, go for it. It is absolutely amazing!“

“While on a road trip we stopped one day near Clayton and Google Maps suggested I visit this brewery. It was a great experience of flavor and attention. The bartender, who unfortunately I don't remember her name, made our experience very pleasant, with extremely friendly service, she made us try samples so that we could then enjoy the pints. Excellent variety of IPAs.It was Sunday and they were showing football on the TV, at a very low volume that did not bother those of us who were not interested in the game.“

“I worked here for 5 years & still miss it. I get something to go at least once a week. Absolutely love their cucumber salad but also Blue Ridge Chicken, Lemon pepper chicken, fried okra, & fresh veggies! My favorite breakfast used to be the chick a dee hash but I'm not sure if they still serve it under the new ownership.Vegetarian options: Veggie plate & salad bar“

“We had a lovely time and a wonderful lunch here! Every food and drink item we ordered was divine including the lavender lemonade, sweet tea, truffle fries, chicken salad sandwich and Mac and cheese. Our waitress Bren was kind, attentive and very helpful. The view is absolutely stunning, which can be especially enjoyed in the outdoor seating area. All around a perfect experience!“

“Stopped in here since we had an overnight in Clayton. The food was awesome as well as the service. We had to leave our Old English Sheepdog “Lady Ellie” in the car since they didn’t allow animals. We asked if we could bring her in as the weather was bad and she gets scared of storms. The manager said it would be ok as long as she was on a harness. We didn’t think she would need her service dog harness as I am hearing impaired and left it at home but I always carry a regular harness as backup. Thank you so much for being accommodating and I wish I had taken a pic of here laying down on the floor by us watching all the people and being such a good girl!“

“We had the fresh garden pizza. It was good. No complaints there. Service however was horrible. Our pizza was literally dropped off like a drive by. Did not receive any refills nor were we asked until 10 minutes after we got the bill. Not sure if the server was having a bad day or what. We saw our server visit other customers multiple times but not our table, having the same demeanor towards all the customers. We got an unwelcoming impression and it made the experience non enjoyable.“
