“I know that wings are not that hard to make a hit but they definitely are hit out the park at Kim's kitchen and wing. Now this place was kind of tucked out of the way off of Jonesboro road in Forest Park Georgia but I happened to see it while riding by one day and I said I need to check that out. Well as I was going to get my medium hot wings but I've been craving for the past few days I was trying to find places that were open cuz this is the day after Christmas. Luckily after being disappointed by a few closed shops I was able to ride by and see the open sign and said it's time to check them out. When I walked in I was greeted with a very enthusiastic good morning and was assisted by the gentleman behind the counter I'm not sure if that was Kim but if it is, I can tell he's very friendly. I proceeded to order my order which I had ordered a 12 wing combo which came with fries and a drink and a Philly steak sandwich by itself. I really didn't know what I was in store for because the shop does look kind of humble. There were two other patrons there he enthusiastically gave them their food when it came up and I was like this is really a good sign of great customer service I know I'm in for a treat. I sat there and waited it took about 10 minutes and boom I was presented with a beautiful container of hot wings and french fries and of course a Philly cheese steak sandwich that was in foil. I put a little seasoning salt on the fries and I snapped a quick picture so that I can show you what the offering was when I make this review. So I got to my destination afterwards and I'll proceeded to tear into the wings they were of course medium hot wings and boy did they not disappoint. The wings were fantastic everything that I was looking for to bring back that feeling of medium hot wings in my belly. I was also very delighted with the Philly steak sandwich cuz it was very fresh and delicious. And let's not forget about the fries cuz they were hot out to grease so they were very hot but very delicious and I truly enjoyed every morsel of this delectable plate from Kim's kitchen and wing. So if you're ever in Forest Park riding down Jonesboro road tucked away off to the side of the BP gas station which is at the corner of Thurman road and Jonesboro road duck around there and check out and of course order something from Kim's kitchen and wing. Thank y'all so much for providing such delicious food and best believe I will be back maybe sooner than you think maybe I'll see one of you there who read this review and you can find out how great their food really is and the price is very nice as well. The wings were $12.99 you get 12 wings french fries a dipping cup I had ranch this time and a drink. The Philly steak by itself was $6.99 so for just just over $20 with tax you're going to eat like a god or goddess. I appreciate the fact that this wing shop was open and I'm definitely recommending them to everyone I know from here on out.“

The light-skinned black lady with the glasses (I keep forgetting to get her name before I leave) is ALWAYS nice and accommodating no matter what and she has such a humble, welcoming spirit and smile. The food is great. Flavor is on point, always fresh, never old or overcooked, nor undercooked. Wings are crispy and seasoned perfectly. Fries are always golden and crisp upon being served. “Okay I was just in that part of town to pick up something on Facebook messenger and it was dinner time. I was hungry so I ordered a fish sandwich. They let me swap the fries for fried okra! That's something in itself; and then I ordered the fish fillet dinner for my family and they let me swap out the fries again. It was just great.
But I have to say something about the collards. They were fantastic! I've already recommended to about 3 or 4 friends. And the catfish was fried golden brown instead of light yellow. Go, order, eat. You won't be disappointed.“

Perfect wing place if you like small crispy wings. Usually I get fried hard at other places but this place gets it just right every time! It crispy skin but moist inside and the flavor isn’t too salty. This place also has the best fries from any wing place I’ve been to. Perfectly seasoned and so crispy!

“OTR truck driver! I have been to no less than 100 places offering wings and this is literally the best. I had the food delivered via grub hub. The app said that the food would be here by 6:05. The food arrived hot and fresh all the way around at 5:35 an entire 30 minutes early. Several wing flavors to choose from and I got the 10 honey lemon pepper wings with shrimp fried rice and an egg roll. They even threw in a free canned soda with the order, which was extremely thoughtful to my surprise considering current models for modern food service. Again I must say, best wings I’ve ever had. Perfectly blended seasoning, with the perfect amount of honey. Not overly saturated but enough to consume the wings lightly where the honey was very present. Crispy, fresh, and juicy wings, without any of the sloppy mess. The fried rice wasn’t dry nor was it overly moist. Seasoned to perfection as-well was the rice and shrimp. Shrimp are fairly small but you get enough of it to not only add the flavor and smell to the rice but to allow for you to enjoy the rice with the shrimp every few bites. Napkins, sauces, ranch, a drink and a fork were all provided without even needing the added option for the order (minus the ranch). This gives me the impression that the owner and managers of this establishment are used to eating at other restaurants rather than just their own. All things considered. Speed, freshness, price, thoughtfulness, and the best wings I’ve ever had. This is my new favorite place to eat when parked in ATL near the forest park area, I would highly recommend to others, and I would like to thank you for being part of the food service industry offered in the area.“

“My experience at J.R. Crickets in Forest Park was just okay overall. It was a slow night, so service felt a bit dragged out, and while the food was decent, it didn’t really stand out. The biggest downside for me was having to pay just to get in—that definitely took away from the experience and didn’t feel justified for what was offered. The atmosphere was chill, but between the slow pace and the entry charge, it’s not a spot I’d rush back to. It’s not terrible, just very average.“

“Unfortunately didn't take pictures but my family enjoyed the food. We've been coming here for years. My son's favorite is the hot honey garlic, and hot lemon pepper. Typically they order cheese fries but the fries are just (meh). The wings are great and the prices are better than many of the other wing places in the area. One of the best perks is the 25 wing platter and fries. The wings are smaller wings but for the price it is worth it. The Philly sandwiches aren't too shabby either. All in all I recommend, especially on the days you just need a break from cooking.“

The whiting is delicious as well and I also tried the catfish. The catfish taste more like Swai but it's still good. The philli cheese is good and comes with a lot of meat and I always get extra cheese.“

“I come here all the time but normally during night shift. Today was my first time coming in the daytime and I will never make that mistake again. Food is great I literally just wanted a side of greens but the cook during the daytime barely put any greens in the side sized box and I asked them if you could at least put a scoop more but I was told to pay again. Now what I’m used to is night shift they always fill it up to the brim for me. I will come back but never in the daytime again. I will note before I even paid I wanted to clarify if there was different sizes for greens because that all I came for I really love them plus they’re made with no meat, and I the lady with blonde locs said no and I said okay I just said can you make sure he fills it up at least she said sure. But when I saw the food I was disappointed and cause it wasn’t even filled up half way and I paid 7 dollars. I ate it because that’s what I came for but I’m highly dissatisfied this was the first time I ever been disappointed with them. But I still encourage you to go support the business they’re great people but I just will never come in the day time I again, because at least when I come at night I’m greeted when I come in.“
