Our waiter loved his job and it showedThe restaurant is tastefully decorates and has a wonderful outside patio - it was a bit cold at 38°F for dining out there, but it would be great during better weather.Five of us ate. My companions all had delicious meals. The avocado fries appetizer and the bread were excellent.The not so good: the lettuce on my burger was not fresh. The burger was sp overcooked my wife noticed (ordered medium). But a friend's cobb salad was great, my wife had a salad with shrimp that was great. The chicken melt was excellent.I'll be back, but maybe not for a burger.“

My favorite place to hang out and relax, and I recommend anyone who has not experienced the great service and over al experience at the Spinning Room is missing out. “Amazing! I called last minute and needed delivery downtown. Said they could but would be a little later than I requested which was fine with me. They arrived earlier than I thought which was great! The food was delicious and perfectly set up. Way to go above & beyond expectations!!!!“
“The food was a “greasy spoon” kind, and PERFECT! The mushroom & Swiss burger was great, the tomato was ripe, and the fries were crispy. I ordered the fried pickle spears also and as a foodie - they hit my spot. My husband ordered the onion rings and the bacon cheeseburger. The onion rings were the battered type (my fav) instead of breaded. The waitress was very friendly, the restroom clean, and the old man sitting by the register was chatty. He engaged my husband in a good conversation. Overall, it was a splendid experience.Parking: It’s a favorite eating place for firefighters and their fire trucks were parked on the street. It was pretty tight in the parking lot.“
“The food is delicious. It's your typical American food -- hamburgers, French fries, tuna sandwiches, meatloaf, etc.... The service is great. There's all tables and also "bar" seating. Not a whole lot of room if you have a walker or wheelchair. That's the only downside.“
“The name almost says it all. Soulfood Express is owned and operated by an honest and hardworking couple, with an old school work ethic and family values. I've only tried the ribs, fried shrimp and chicken&dressing mains so far and they were amazing. If you want top notch soulfood at a reasonable price, especially these days with inflation, this is your best choice!“
