3/22/26 Update: I've been eating from here since 2021 when I first moved to ATL and I still do. SOLID GOOD FOOD EVERY SINGLE TIME!! MY ORDER HAS NEVER BEEN WRONG! THE PORTIONS ARE ALWAYS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! EVERYTHING IVE TRIED ON THE MENU IS A1 (MEI FUN, LO MEIN, CURRY FRIED RICE, MONGOLIAN CHICKEN, MANDARIN FRIED CHICKEN & THOSE AMAZING CRAB RANGOON!!! WE HAVE OUR OWN RESTAURANT NOW AND I STILL COME BACK HERE WHEN IM IN ATL!!! 😁😁😍🤩🤗🥵🥺💥🤌🏾🫶🏾👀🤸🏾‍♀️... will update with photos when I get home with my food.“

“Great place, came through as part of the carnival and craved Chinese food. Place was practically across the street, it looks like most other Chinese food restaurants and the food was ready in 15 minutes. Honey chicken was perfect, fried rice was better than any other place I've been, and the wonton soup was more al dente than anywhere I've been but I think I prefer a wonton dumpling that stays on the fork rather than a soft one that won't stay on the fork or chopsticks. I'll be back regularly while we are here and probably next year as well.“

“I really like Panda Express. Late hours and drive through option. @supremekingpoet for more entertainment and music while you eat. The prices are not bad if you have the right sever fill the family meal containers. 😋 I usually come on a couple hours before close or during lunch so you can catch the fresh drops. Theres lots of seating and great lighting nice for a first date meet up or a quick rendezvous. Veggies were fresh rice was sift noodles were well cooked. The only to really watch is the calories and the sugars added. Very filling but if your on keto don't even pretend.“

“The female black manager with long hair with braids are so rude to the employees. Heard her bad mouthing an employee at the bar area about 3 weeks ago . Tonight spouse and I were sitting close to the kitchen and we heard her calling one of the staff very loud. She is very unproffessional. One of the female server had a pissed off look on her.if she is a manager, she is very unprofessional. The servers are awesome but we notice almost all the servers are not happy here when ever we go here. We always eat here in between flights from Tampa to Houston.“

“I dined solo tonight and had the best time ever! From the time I walked in I was seated promptly! My server took the time to explain certain food combinations and he placed my order quickly. He was Sharon’s brother, I can’t remember his name. Sharon checked on me frequently to make sure I was ok! And best of all…the food was simply delicious!!! Together… They were a great team!!! “Excellent choice Roast duck soup is the best I've ever had. Very polite and nice lady at the register which is very unusual for most Asian establishments when it comes to black people in particular and I truly appreciate that. “The prices have gone up. The egg rolls are smaller. The food is pretty good especially their egg drop soup but the little chips that go in the egg drop soup was stale on today. 05/29:2026. I called them when I got home because it was food to go and I explained the stale. They came up with a rehearsed excuse. Always check everything before leaving.“

“I've been here, a few times and the food is always good!! This afternoon, came here after church and tried their sesame chicken..which I heard is good..but never tried it before. I'm glad I did!! “Just got out of school and was looking for something to eat, saw this place online and took a gamble and I’m glad I did. Everything was cooked well and seasoned well. I ordered sweet & sour chicken with rice and broccoli on the side. The chicken had a good taste and a nice crunch and the sweet & sour sauce that came with it was very good and tangy. My broccoli had other veggies and some soy sauce poured on top which wasn’t too salty but wasn’t bland either, I enjoyed every veggie. I would’ve given 5 stars if my rice was seasoned a little more but overall I had a good experience and there portions sizes are very nice!“

“The staff is always friendly. I appreciate that they are always very accommodating. I always come up here and sit while they prepare my food and its good. Sometimes, you cant just be a voice on the phone or an order that comes across a screen. Ive come to find that if you go and actually talk to the staff, be nice, and leave an appropriate tip, people go out of their way to do a good job. I greatly appreciate the service provided here.“

“Hong Kong City is hands-down one of my favorite spots to eat! I come here multiple times a week because their food is always made fresh and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the difference with their in-house sauces—they add so much flavor and make every dish stand out.

“Let me let y’all know about this Chinese spot!!! I originally moved here being a native New Yorker and had a taste for some chicken and broccoli. Seemed like the other restaurants wasn’t hitting. I decided to give them a try after being in GA for about 2 months. Everything about them is customer service. Friendly welcomes, patience and most importantly FRESH and HOT food. They honestly are the only ones I go to and been loyal to from the time I moved here back in 2017. Not a buffet not another Chinese restaurant just China One. I have now relocated to another part of GA after living in Clayton county for about two years and I drive to them and spend my money with them faithfully for that taste that I want. If y’all don’t know now y’all know (in the words of Biggie Small) I totally approve and stand behind this restaurant especially if I’m driving 45 to an hour out just to get me my lunch special which if y’all go between the hours of 10-3:30 only available Tuesday thru Friday they offer that same quality food they make on a regular for a very affordable price and they hook the plates up. They know me on a family level! 🤣 When I walk in they know me for the no bamboo shoot and extra sauce on the side. Making me feel good because I am a committed woman. The food was freshly prepared and of excellent quality.

Our order consisted of Mongolian Beef, Mu Shu Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Crab Ragoons.

“I had a great experience at China Cafe Waikiki. The lo mein was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The noodles had a great texture, and the portion size was generous.

I also want to recognize Jessica at the front desk. She was extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. She greeted customers with a smile and made sure everyone felt appreciated. I use to come here all the time back on the day I decided to try them out yesterday but I noticed the reviews were all over the place. The food was hot and fresh no one gave me an attitude but the outside does need improvement. Someone followed me to my car. But all in all I do recommend.“

“Good and cheap Chinese food spot. It reminds me a bit of China Express AKA “dollar scoop”. They advertise their food as 1 scoop for either $1.50 or $1.75 (I can’t quite remember). I was able to get a plate with lo mein, black pepper chicken, bourbon chicken, butter shrimp and a spring roll for under $10! All the food was delicious except for the spring roll. It was hard and had too much ginger or something inside it. I’ve visited twice recently and had good experiences. But I will say it pays to order in person, because the first time I used doordash to order online and go pick it up myself and it was almost $6 more for the same amount of food!“

“When you go to the mall the last thing that you think is that you're going to find any decent food. And unfortunately at South DeKalb Mall your food choices are extremely limited. However I'm happy to say that in the food court there is one restaurant that is holding on to its little spot in the corner and that is Mandarin Express.Freshly prepared Asian favorites such as Orange Chicken, Kung Pao chicken, and Black pepper chicken are available for your dining experience.Also available for a slightly higher price are items like Chinese green beans, Beef and broccoli, and Thai coconut curry chicken.And don't forget appetizers like vegetable spring rolls, chicken egg rolls or cream cheese rangoons.Of course it isn't five star dining however the food is fresh and hot and served with a pleasant attitude.“

“You can eat inside but this place is for more like taking out. You can choose with buffet style (one scoop $2.5) or from meal menus ($12~). I choose buffet style and took 2 kinds of cuisine, the amount as enough for one person for one meal and it was good. The price was super cheap. Probably I will come back again.“

“I haven’t eaten at this brand in YEARS! I did look up the reviews before stopping by and although the rating of 3.8 was lower than I had expected, I decided to take a chance and come inside just to take a look before ordering. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service team members were fast, the food was extremely fresh and everything was hot and tasty. The orange chicken was a fresh batch which was good and the beans/chicken was cooked just right. I had half rice and half broccoli/cabbage as my side. The server and cashier was VERY nice and helpful in my selections and answered my questions efficiently. I normally don’t eat out especially fast food but I was tired of leftovers but had a taste for some orange chicken. I was pleasantly surprised about food to my liking. I may try again soon but I will come inside to check it out first.“

“I visited around 11:09 AM, right at opening time. From the outside, the place looked closed, and when I went in, the staff didn’t seem very cheerful or energetic. As someone who’s soft-spoken and has social anxiety, it was a little hard to get their attention at first, but thankfully I didn’t have to repeat myself too much, and ordering was quick and easy.

I was torn between getting General Tso’s chicken and beef with broccoli. I prefer my General Tso’s on the spicier side, but when I asked if it was spicy, I didn’t get a clear answer. So I went with my safe choice—beef and broccoli—and I’m glad I did! The vegetables were fresh and still had a nice bite to them, not soggy, but full of flavor. The steak was decent, kind of gamey, so I’d give it a 6.8/10.

I ordered the lunch special but substituted the rice for lo mein (not sure what kind they gave me), and it ended up being the highlight of my meal! The noodles were flavorful and had a great consistency. Even with the substitution and a drink, my total came to under $15, which felt like a great deal.

Overall, the food was tasty and fresh, and I’d definitely come back again!! Next time I’ll try something new, maybe even the General Tso’s if I can get more info on the spice level!“
