“China Wok Chinese Restaurant in Union City.

Since moving from New York, where we had a favorite Chinese restaurant with an incredible tasting menu, we have tried several different restaurants in Georgia. I honestly figured I would not find a similar restaurant here in the Atlanta area, but we were absolutely delighted with the results at China Wok.

The food tastes just like the restaurants I regularly visited back home. My family loves the fried chicken, General Tso's chicken, boneless spare ribs, and Lo Mein. China Wok is officially our new favorite Chinese restaurant.

“Regular here! I always get their XL house fried rice minus shrimp (allergic) and add beef. I tell you I’ve tried almost all the Chinese restaurants in the surrounding areas and this one here is by far the most superior! Always fresh like seriously hot and you can tell they literally just cooked it, the chicken actually tastes like chicken iykyk, great proportions and the host who takes the order is very kind and playful.“

“I come here often and I usually get the house lo mein and wonton soup. Usually the house lo mien is very good but last time and this time just isn’t the same. The rice and sesame chicken also taste a little different. I was really craving this but I’ll try it again some other time.“

Aleisha was my server. Absolutely phenomenal. I am also a server part time so it’s tough to “wow” me but she absolutely did. She recommended the margarita- it was a 10/10. Then I ordered the Mongolian beef which I always get but she told me I absolutely needed to try the Mongolian chicken. So…. I ordered both! Good came out hot and very fast as I requested due to my next flight being fast. She had everything done in 25 minutes to a half hour and that was with an app! (Crab Rangoon).
She is just so friendly! If you go in- definitely sit with her. She will brighten your day 100%“

“The basil fried rice is delicious! It's very flavorful and done well. I got mine with tofu and veggies and there's a really good mix of fresh vegetables with toasted garlic and fresh herbs on top. I highly recommend you give it a try.“

“I've been here, a few times and the food is always good!! This afternoon, came here after church and tried their sesame chicken..which I heard is good..but never tried it before. I'm glad I did!! It was so good, it comes with fried rice and an eggroll for $11... that's a very good deal and nice size portions. If you are ever in the Riverdale area, definitely stop by and try them out!! 💯😊“

“My son and I have a lot of work and we're very hungry. We saw that there was a chinese restaurant and the area So we checked it out. We ordered the lunch, general chicken and beef lo mein. Food was good, not the best i've ever had, but I definitely good! (Expensive- Wash D.C. prices) CHINA TASTE off Powers Ferry so far holds the crown.“

“Got my food in a timely manner, the general tso chicken was fried hard ( I’m a fried hard type of guy ) usually at other places it be soggy, the fish was great also … definitely recommend going the pricing was good but since I’m fat at heart I ended up spending bout 22.50 the general tso chicken combo was bout 11.95 they gave you enough to get full off it“

“The staff is always friendly. I appreciate that they are always very accommodating. I always come up here and sit while they prepare my food and its good. Sometimes, you cant just be a voice on the phone or an order that comes across a screen. Ive come to find that if you go and actually talk to the staff, be nice, and leave an appropriate tip, people go out of their way to do a good job. I greatly appreciate the service provided here.“

“If you call early, your order is usually ready. The food is great 👍. The service would be Better, if 2 people were up front . 1 for Call In orders. 1 for in store orders. Make sure you check your orders. Hope that they get the front dining back up. 😋😋“

“Let me let y’all know about this Chinese spot!!! I originally moved here being a native New Yorker and had a taste for some chicken and broccoli. Seemed like the other restaurants wasn’t hitting. I decided to give them a try after being in GA for about 2 months. Everything about them is customer service. Friendly welcomes, patience and most importantly FRESH and HOT food. They honestly are the only ones I go to and been loyal to from the time I moved here back in 2017. Not a buffet not another Chinese restaurant just China One. I have now relocated to another part of GA after living in Clayton county for about two years and I drive to them and spend my money with them faithfully for that taste that I want. If y’all don’t know now y’all know (in the words of Biggie Small) I totally approve and stand behind this restaurant especially if I’m driving 45 to an hour out just to get me my lunch special which if y’all go between the hours of 10-3:30 only available Tuesday thru Friday they offer that same quality food they make on a regular for a very affordable price and they hook the plates up. They know me on a family level! 🤣 When I walk in they know me for the no bamboo shoot and extra sauce on the side. Making me feel good because I am a committed woman. “Purchased the beef and broccoli with steamed rice, crab rangoon, and egg rolls. Everything was hot and seemed fresh. I reduced a star because the crab rangoon didn't taste anything different from mall or frozen all ready made rangoon from a grocery store. Didn't even get a hint of crab (I know it's probably imitation) but was expecting something more tasty. Also the sweet & sour sauce that comes with the egg rolls tasted sour/spoiled.“

3/22/26 Update: I've been eating from here since 2021 when I first moved to ATL and I still do. SOLID GOOD FOOD EVERY SINGLE TIME!! MY ORDER HAS NEVER BEEN WRONG! “Fan freak'n tastic! Beef N Broccoli was delicious, steamed dumplings with that soy dippin sauce was hitt'n, and those Chinese dougnuts put my behind in a food coma. “I had a great experience at China Cafe Waikiki. The lo mein was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The noodles had a great texture, and the portion size was generous.

I also want to recognize Jessica at the front desk. She was extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. She greeted customers with a smile and made sure everyone felt appreciated. “1st and foremost, I am not a friend nor was I paid to write this review. I give this place 5-stars based on prior experience. I ordered two plates. Teriyaki chicken with shrimp fried rice and Teriyaki wings with shrimp fried rice. My order totaled $24.73. Not bad at all for dinner for 2. The customer service was prompt and my meal was completed in 10 mins. Both plates of food were piping hot and fresh. Nothing stale or out of order. The portion of both plates were more than sufficient. Most importantly, this establishment is very clean. I don’t know what more they can do. The price was good. The food was fresh. Given the climate of fast food in and around Atlanta, I say they’re doing a pretty good job.“

“Great place, came through as part of the carnival and craved Chinese food. Place was practically across the street, it looks like most other Chinese food restaurants and the food was ready in 15 minutes. Honey chicken was perfect, fried rice was better than any other place I've been, and the wonton soup was more al dente than anywhere I've been but I think I prefer a wonton dumpling that stays on the fork rather than a soft one that won't stay on the fork or chopsticks. I'll be back regularly while we are here and probably next year as well.“

“I really like Panda Express. Late hours and drive through option. @supremekingpoet for more entertainment and music while you eat. The prices are not bad if you have the right sever fill the family meal containers. 😋 I usually come on a couple hours before close or during lunch so you can catch the fresh drops. Theres lots of seating and great lighting nice for a first date meet up or a quick rendezvous. Veggies were fresh rice was sift noodles were well cooked. The only to really watch is the calories and the sugars added. Very filling but if your on keto don't even pretend.“

“You can eat inside but this place is for more like taking out. You can choose with buffet style (one scoop $2.5) or from meal menus ($12~). I choose buffet style and took 2 kinds of cuisine, the amount as enough for one person for one meal and it was good. The price was super cheap. Probably I will come back again.“

“I always get takeout from here, I don't dine in. They're super efficient when I call in my orders and the food is exactly what I want when I'm ordering Chinese. The interior is definitely in need of a refresh, but I carryout so it's not a concern of mine.“
