Since moving from New York, where we had a favorite Chinese restaurant with an incredible tasting menu, we have tried several different restaurants in Georgia. I honestly figured I would not find a similar restaurant here in the Atlanta area, but we were absolutely delighted with the results at China Wok.

The food tastes just like the restaurants I regularly visited back home. My family loves the fried chicken, General Tso's chicken, boneless spare ribs, and Lo Mein. China Wok is officially our new favorite Chinese restaurant.

“The food HITS every time. Best Chinese food I’ve found in the area. I’m obsessed with their Mongolian beef and fried rice. Never had issues. Eggrolls are crispy and delicious. Coming back today for lunch..been thinking about them all weekend lol.

“I come here often and I usually get the house lo mein and wonton soup. Usually the house lo mien is very good but last time and this time just isn’t the same. The rice and sesame chicken also taste a little different. I was really craving this but I’ll try it again some other time.“

My brother and I both ordered the Massaman curry, one with chicken and the other with beef, and both were outstanding. The curry was packed with flavor without being overly sweet, with a wonderfully balanced blend of spices and perfectly cooked carrots, onions, and potatoes. The beef and chicken were both tender and generous.

And an extra point for the cashews sprinkled on top. Many Thai restaurants use peanuts, but the cashews add a delicious richness and crunch.

This place is the real deal—authentic, flavorful, generous portions, and clearly a kitchen that knows what it’s doing. Come hungry… and wear your stretchy pants!“

“I've been here, a few times and the food is always good!! This afternoon, came here after church and tried their sesame chicken..which I heard is good..but never tried it before. I'm glad I did!! It was so good, it comes with fried rice and an eggroll for $11... that's a very good deal and nice size portions. If you are ever in the Riverdale area, definitely stop by and try them out!! 💯😊“

“Let me let y’all know about this Chinese spot!!! I originally moved here being a native New Yorker and had a taste for some chicken and broccoli. Seemed like the other restaurants wasn’t hitting. I decided to give them a try after being in GA for about 2 months. Everything about them is customer service. Friendly welcomes, patience and most importantly FRESH and HOT food. They honestly are the only ones I go to and been loyal to from the time I moved here back in 2017. Not a buffet not another Chinese restaurant just China One. I have now relocated to another part of GA after living in Clayton county for about two years and I drive to them and spend my money with them faithfully for that taste that I want. If y’all don’t know now y’all know (in the words of Biggie Small) I totally approve and stand behind this restaurant especially if I’m driving 45 to an hour out just to get me my lunch special which if y’all go between the hours of 10-3:30 only available Tuesday thru Friday they offer that same quality food they make on a regular for a very affordable price and they hook the plates up. They know me on a family level! 🤣 When I walk in they know me for the no bamboo shoot and extra sauce on the side. Making me feel good because I am a committed woman. “I've been looking for a Chinese Restaurant with good egg foo young for a while now. This restaurant is about 14 minutes from me. Coming from NY where good Chinese food comes dime a dozen it's been hard finding a restaurant that satisfied my taste buds . I had egg foo young and a shrimp rolll , the food was good and fresh. I will be returning when I get the urge for Chinese Food😋“

“The staff is always friendly. I appreciate that they are always very accommodating. I always come up here and sit while they prepare my food and its good. Sometimes, you cant just be a voice on the phone or an order that comes across a screen. Ive come to find that if you go and actually talk to the staff, be nice, and leave an appropriate tip, people go out of their way to do a good job. I greatly appreciate the service provided here.“

“This is definitely not meant to be an eat in place, but in my humble opinion, it is the absolute best Chinese food anywhere around. I drive from the upper westside to come here. Also, they have AMAZING bourbon chicken which can be hard to find.“

“Han's has some of the best wings in my opinion. The braised wings are my favorite!! They cook them exactly the way I like them. I do not particularly enjoy some of the Chinese dishes, such as the Kung Pao Chicken or the Mongolian Beef. But the Sweet and Sour Shrimp/Chicken is good. Also although I like the fried rice I wish they used a tad more sesame oil. That being said, Han's has room for improvement but I still go there at least once a week!“

“Great place, came through as part of the carnival and craved Chinese food. Place was practically across the street, it looks like most other Chinese food restaurants and the food was ready in 15 minutes. Honey chicken was perfect, fried rice was better than any other place I've been, and the wonton soup was more al dente than anywhere I've been but I think I prefer a wonton dumpling that stays on the fork rather than a soft one that won't stay on the fork or chopsticks. I'll be back regularly while we are here and probably next year as well.“

“Purchased the beef and broccoli with steamed rice, crab rangoon, and egg rolls. Everything was hot and seemed fresh. I reduced a star because the crab rangoon didn't taste anything different from mall or frozen all ready made rangoon from a grocery store. Didn't even get a hint of crab (I know it's probably imitation) but was expecting something more tasty. Also the sweet & sour sauce that comes with the egg rolls tasted sour/spoiled.“

THE PORTIONS ARE ALWAYS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! EVERYTHING IVE TRIED ON THE MENU IS A1 (MEI FUN, LO MEIN, CURRY FRIED RICE, MONGOLIAN CHICKEN, MANDARIN FRIED CHICKEN & THOSE AMAZING CRAB RANGOON!!! “New Peking Chinese Restaurant was a great find! The food was delicious, had a really authentic Chinese flavor, and was offered at a great value. Everything we tried was flavorful and had that traditional Chinese taste that you don’t always find at takeout restaurants.

The combo and lunch meals were especially impressive. The prices were very affordable, the portions were generous, and the food was really satisfying. The staff were also friendly and nice, which made ordering easy and pleasant.

One important thing to know before visiting is that this is a takeout-only restaurant and there is currently no dine-in seating. We originally thought there was a dining area, so we ended up eating our food inside our car. From what we understood, they stopped offering dine-in service around the COVID period and have continued as takeout only.

Overall, I would definitely recommend New Peking if you’re looking for affordable, flavorful, and authentic-tasting Chinese food with generous portions. Just plan to take your food somewhere else to eat!“

“I really like Panda Express. Late hours and drive through option. @supremekingpoet for more entertainment and music while you eat. The prices are not bad if you have the right sever fill the family meal containers. 😋 I usually come on a couple hours before close or during lunch so you can catch the fresh drops. Theres lots of seating and great lighting nice for a first date meet up or a quick rendezvous. Veggies were fresh rice was sift noodles were well cooked. The only to really watch is the calories and the sugars added. Very filling but if your on keto don't even pretend.“

“I only have one complaint and that they don't hand you a menu or sit you down at a table. Mostly people come by to get food to go.

But oh their food is flavored and fast. Plus they got all I ordered faster then any other fast food places.

Sadly they only had paper menus and told us to come to the counter to order and pay.“

“I had a great experience at China Cafe Waikiki. The lo mein was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The noodles had a great texture, and the portion size was generous.

I also want to recognize Jessica at the front desk. She was extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. She greeted customers with a smile and made sure everyone felt appreciated. Knocked off a star because spending $18 and not even getting a full meal is crazy work with these smaller portions, but overall still a tasty spot.“
