“Honestly wasn’t expecting such a fabulous meal from a chain but the Coffee Steak was incredible and the salad. They also give huge portions for the salad and dessert. Dessert was the only thing that was ehh okay. But our waitress was amazing. Atmosphere could use some more art or vibes.“

“Jason and I just had probably one of the best restaurant experiences and food I’ve ever had! We started with goats cheese appetizer, followed by a delicious Caesars salad. I ordered a center cut filet with scallops as my main course. Jason had the New York strip. We shared broccoli and fingerling potatoes as sides. The most amazing part was the bone marrow butter and foie gras butter complementing the steaks. To top it all off we brought home candied pecan bread pudding with Jim Beam sauce. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was so quaint. I truly had an amazing experience!“

“It is RARE (no pun intended) that I order a steak out and it come anywhere close to what I can do at home. However, leave it to Longhorn to come through in the clutch! I ordered a ribeye "Pittsburgh medium-rare" and it was perfect! Nice char on the outside, nice pink on the inside. No Heinz 57 needed.

A big table celebrating a birthday was obnoxiously loud and a baby behind us kept slamming dishes on the table so a bit annoying. Not really the restaurant's fault.“

“Took my better half here for his Birthday! ( mind you we live in Douglasville and it was ABSOLULEY worth the drive) We started at the bar and grabbed a drink until our reservation time. ( I had a Lemon drop Pineapple Mojito and He had a Bipo Beer) Then we were sat at our table. Had a super awesome server ( so sorry i forgot to write down your name) We started off with a wedge and a French onion soup. We ate about half and the just swapped rather than reaching back and forth over the table!
I got the coffee Filet with the whipped mash potatoes, He got the special - Horseradish Filet, with the au gratin potatoes. The horse radish had juuuust enough kick to taste good without lighting your sinuses on fire. We also got the broccoli, and the gouda mac n cheese to share. The steaks came out perfectly cooked, and sliced like a hot knife through butter. The Broccoli has a garlic butter on it that was delicious. The whipped potatoes were the winner between them and the au gratin ( but still tasty) The mac and cheese had a nice crunch on the top, i cant put my finger on what it needed? salt maybe? but was still yummy. They boxed up the sides for us, and then brought us out 2 glasses of champagne and Crème Brule with candles in it! Good thing we found room in our dessert shelves to eat it, it was smnooth and creamy with a perfect Brule'd crust. We were SO beyond full at that point we went to walk around target. This place is most definitely worth the trip and the money. The service is attentive but not over bearing. Made for quite the birthday experience!“

“Connors has been a longtime favorite of ours. Over the years, we have had several good meals here, with service that often went above and beyond. I know how hard restaurant work is, and I’ve always appreciated the care the staff put in. But our most recent experience left us disappointed. The service was unexpectedly inattentive. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, but our server never returned to refill our glasses. A French fry order was forgotten, and when we asked about it, things seemed to unravel. The server was visibly exasperated. A supervisor eventually stepped in, handled things professionally, and assigned a new server—but by then the mood had shifted. This wasn’t just any lunch—it was a farewell meal with a dear friend leaving town, and I’d hoped for a flawless experience. At over $230, I expected more attentive service. I don’t share this lightly. Connors has been a place we’ve enjoyed many times. But this visit left me disappointed, and I won’t be returning anytime soon. There are many excellent Sarasota restaurants where $250 buys not just a good meal, but service that feels genuinely welcoming.“

“Visited on Fathers Day. First time. Menu had great options for all budgets, even for kids, and food was cooked well. Service however will likely keep us from returning. At first I was very understanding about how long it took our server to first come to our table, to refill drinks, to bring food, etc because they were clearly full on Fathers Day. But then we noticed other tables coming in long after us, have the same number of courses, and leave long before us. Then we had to ask more than once for sodas and waters to be refilled. We also started noticing that other tables were given bread while waiting for their food, though we did never did. When I pointed it out to the server during dessert, she kindly added some warm bread to our to go bag. Overall it took 1 hr 45 min to be served a Coke, one salad, 4 entrees, and 2 desserts.“

“Went for our 25th anniversary, and I made that note in our reservation. When we walked in, we were immediately congratulated on our anniversary by multiple people. Classy. Our table was nicely set up. A touch of upscale class. The bench seat seats at our booth were very comfortable and firm and kept you sitting upright. Our server was a consummate professional, who also had a touch of upscale class. The menu is just the right size. Not too limited, however not overwhelming. Our appetizers were delicious. We were offered complementary bread and a fabulous relish. One miss is that our Caprese salad consisted of only one slice of mozzarella and one slice of tomato for each of us. This was the only miss in perceived value. Our charcuterie board, on the other hand, was plentiful. The wine list was solid. They had what I wanted, from solid Chianti to Zin and my after dinner grappa. My wife's mixed to drink was delicious. Main courses were wonderful with proper portions. Prices were reasonable and, in all, it was a strong value  The misses: Our bill had a $19 error on it which we had to have corrected. We asked if the cheesecake for dessert was an American cheesecake of cream cheese or Italian cheesecake of ricotta. We were told it was an Italian cheesecake, but it was not. Plus, my wife and I both determined that the cheesecake had an off taste to it and did not eat it. It was removed from our bill however we were surprised that our alternative selection was not complementary. Of additional note, after the welcoming, happy anniversary wishes when we walked in the door, there was no other recognition of the event. These misses kept me from giving it five stars all around. That said, would I return? Yes. We had a delicious meal and a solid experience, having multiple appetizers, main courses of good portion, multiple drinks, and two desserts for a pre-tip total of $200. “

“We have stayed here several times, including 2 months while between houses right now. It has been great for my 3 year old and me. The restaurant staff (Marin, Xiaowei, and Netsanet- sorry for spelling!) are wonderful, the front desk staff are always helpful and welcoming. My little one knows all their names, and they know hers too! She’s always greeted warmly and with love! We love the indoor pool and hot tub for the kids especially! It’s been a great, SAFE place for us and we’re sad to leave soon!“

“The food was really good, I brought my mom here for lunch for her birthday and the table topper they gave us and the cheesecake bites at the end of the meal were very nice touches to acknowledge her birthday. We both ordered salads and really enjoyed them. Only reason I docked a star was because the service was a bit slow for a weekday lunch. Our server was very nice but just a little slow as I had to get back to work. I will go back to this restaurant.“
